Prospector Hotel and Casino

Loved this hotel. Room had a nice mix of old and new elements. K-Cups and upscale shampoo/soaps was a nice touch. Breakfast in restaurant was good with reasonable prices. Staff was very friendly. Would recommend this hotel. Not far from Great Basin National Park

You know I really do like this place and I do come here a lot and I spend a lot of money here never had no problems with anybody until I saw these two guys on the early morning shift watching a little boy go to the bathroom I caught them in the act that's a major crime watching little kids in the bathroom that's just sick if you ask me somebody needs to do something about these two men because that's just out of line and should not be tolerated simply disgusting unbelievable I thought this place had a better staff I hope the police do something about these pedifiles .it's just not right

I actually stayed at the Holiday Inn Express next door. I wanted to try the restaurant so I walked over. As soon as I walked into the lobby I was met by a wall of cigarette smoke. I don't understand how a non smoker could tolerate this business. I turned around and left...

Staff very friendly. We were traveling with our 2 4 pound yorkies. They are super accommodating to pets. Even left dog treats in the room! Only disappointment was there was NO hot water. Zero. Shower felt like some form of torture! No bathtub. Nice casino and restaurant. Hopefully they will fix the hot water issue!

I have traveled a lot for work, both in Nevada and California, and this is the best experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. It was incredibly clean, the staff was very friendly, and the little touches were very thoughtful. We stayed in a pet friendly room which had zero animal odor, they also left our dog some dog treats and a dog bed. The room was also themed and so cute. It is a casino hotel so they even left earplugs for those that are sensitive to sound. Although we had zero issues with that, it was nice that they were there. It was also nice that the room didn’t smell like cigarettes at all. It also had amazing water pressure and the cooler and heating system was top-notch. And the beds- super comfortable. After having stayed in a lot of hotels I’m very picky, especially about cleanliness. Any hotel that leaves dog treats out is for sure confident about a lack of pests! if we ever travel to Ely again, I will 100% be booking a room at the prospector. And I wish that they had a hotel in every town!
