Staybridge Suites Carson City Tahoe Area an IHG Hotel

As a diamond member we stay at many IHG all year long. Without a doubt this hotel had the most disappointing breakfast. We stayed four days and never had a good experience. The hotel was clean, attractive and comfortable. The cheerful staff did their best with what was available.

They do not honor reservations.Had reservations yet waited 45 minutes for check in .Had reservations for a disabled room.They stated that it did not show despite being on IGH app.Went back and forth finding a room that in the end was not suitable for my disabled son .Was told take it or leave it

We stayed two week nights which happened to be the nights they had a happy hour. There was plenty of food at the happy hour along with wine, beer, sodas to satisfy every one, including several men coming from work. The place is clean, quiet, comfortable, and convenient to the highway. The staff are very friendly. It wasn’t the cheapest option, $404 with taxes, but we were happy with our stay.

Had a hard time with the pillows, but the rooms are great! The breakfast was " eh". The same breakfast for 3 months gets old. They have a social Mon- Wed, I never participated but heard great reviews. The pool is great and the employees are the best!

We stayed two nights here on May 21-23, 2003. This hotel is relatively new, and everyone was very nice and friendly. The first room we got was too close to the elevator, and since my husband is a light sleeper, we asked to be moved. Carina (sp?) at the front desk was very helpful and found us another room (#309). It was very nice and quiet. The view was of the mountains and was a treat to wake up to. The breakfast was good and plenty. We went to the evening social on Monday, and it was adequate to serve as dinner. Even though I didn't cook, it was nice having a kitchen available. Having a full-sized fridge with an ice maker was very convenient. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you, everyone, at Staybridge Suites Carson City!
