Hilton Garden Inn Omaha Downtown Old Market Area

We stayed three nights. The hotel is located downtown Omaha within a short walk from the Old Market area with several restaurants. Good parking is available next to the hotel, alas at USD 25/night. It is not a new hotel but everything seemed to be well maintained and our room was spacious, reasonably quiet and clean. It was equipped with fridge, micro and a coffee maker. Housekeeping every other day worked fine with us. Breakfast made to order was included in our rate and was very good and with excellent service too.

This hotel is conveniently located in downtown Omaha and it has a ton of restaurants and bars located within walking distance. The people are very friendly and open for suggestions. The only downfall is the hidden parking fee. It’s a reasonable rate but should be explained in the reservation process.

We stayed the weekend of the crowd strike mess. The staff was unable to issue digital keys, so guests had to be let into the room by staff member. We had the pleasure of Skye, taking us to our room several times always with the smile and a kind word. The entire staff did an amazing job not letting us feel any of the frustrations they must’ve had. Overall, a wonderful experience in a very difficult tech mess.

I cannot say enough about the exceptional staff at this hotel. The card creator was down and I can imagine the nightmare it must’ve been for them but they never showed it. They consistently went above and beyond. Special shout out to Lindsey, she worked her tail off running people to their rooms at any and all hours. I don’t know that she slept the entire weekend. The rooms were clean and the hotel was quiet. Location was perfect, parking was a breeze with the garage. Probably the best staff environment I’ve ever experienced at a hotel in my life!
