Hampton Inn Norfolk

I have extended family in the area and have stayed in this hotel several times. This is not my first review of this hotel. I wanted to mention that this hotel has now received a sorely needed renovation. What an improvement! The mattresses in particular were worn out the last time I was here. The mattresses are now very nice as are the pillows. The bathroom is very well done with four places to hang towels. The food layout in the breakfast area is well thought out and flows nicely. I’ve had issues with HVAC noise on the roof when staying on the top floor. This time I requested a lower floor, and this eliminated the problem. The walls are thin, though. I could hear the man next to us yawning. I’m glad there wasn’t a loud group next to us. Overall, this is the nicest hotel in town, and it will continue to be my go-to.

The bed linens and pillows were fabulous. The expansive breakfast offerings were delicious and constantly monitored. All staff I encountered were both friendly and courteous. By far the best hotel stay I’ve ever experienced!

Clean,affordable &great morning breakfast. Staff were limited but very accommodating & went the extra mile! Even recognized my husband from a previous stay there. Great job by all! Nice to feel like we were important to the staff. Great customer service!

The hotel staff were absolutely amazing. The complimentary breakfast was good. The hotel need to update the technology but other than that everything was good. I would definitely recommend for others in the area

We enjoyed our stay in Norfolk. Conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. Great staff, clean hotel and breakfast was delicious. We arrived late, but staff were expecting us and registration was very easy.
