Hampton Inn & Suites Winston Salem Downtown

My husband had a conference at the convention center and this location was perfect for that. The staff from the valets to the desk were super nice and helpful from the time that we checked in until check out 3 days later. The room was clean and the beds slept great. We picked the side away from the Main Street and it was quiet for a city location. We enjoyed our stay! Thanks to the staff for all their help!

I had a great experience at this Hotel, Eric and Nigel and the entire Valet staff took good care of me and my G-Wagon at the Valet Station and the staff at the Hotel was nice, friendly very accommodating. I highly recommend this location for familes and business travelers.

Stayed here a few years ago when it first opened and it was fine. Omg how did you let it go so downhill?!?! Smells of smoke of wet carpet throughout, $22 mandatory valet fee and good luck with that. Parking attendance smells like a bottle of gin at 9 am, our window left open, poor guy waiting in front of us they left the car unlocked and key in the car 😂😂. Avoid at all cost.

Really nice hotel. This is a great location and I liked having valet parking because it’s hard to find parking in downtown. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Everyone I encountered was friendly – from the valet to the check-in staff. I would definitely stay here again.

$22 plus tips to park car. Oh and a 15-20 minute wait to get it! Why not just be upfront instead posting 2 other options for parking. I rarely say I’d NEVER stay there again but I’d NEVER stay there again! Expedia called twice to explain there policy is not clear. Their response was park down the street at $10 per entry or pay the penalty and cancel the reservation. If you don’t mind hidden fees or like wasting time waiting then stay here. If not pick one of the many equally nice less expensive options in the area.
