Candlewood Suites Huntersville an IHG Hotel

Hotel that needs a lot of maintenance. Doors that don't close well, broken tiles, old carpets. Kitchen with few utensils. Grills completely destroyed and unusable even though I had explicitly asked for their use. Very poor experience, not suggested

Sale Manager was amazing making sure everything go perfectly smooth. For my 6 weeks stay til I get apartment set up, as starting up a new division. It has everything I need for stay. Kitchen, laundry room and a living and bedroom separated. For a reasonable price

Clean. Old. Useful. Love the kitchen. Big bathroom. Clean room. Basic and simple. Furniture is old and chipped. Good value for the money. Plenty of parking. Clean and average bed and bedding. Super close to Lake Norman and Birkdale Village.

This is by far the worst place we have EVER stayed at. They first lost our reservation (even though we had a confirmation # and it was paid for) they made us contact customer service which verified our reservation. The room they gave us was disgusting. It was dirty, the tub was peeling and the chair was stained and broken. (See photos) We asked for a new room that was not much better. The trash was not emptied, the chair was stained and there was hair on the floor. To top it off there was no smoke detector only wires coming out of the ceiling. (See photos) We usually stay at IHG properties but will never again.

Everyone was so nice. My family and I had just gotten off the road, tired and exhausted from traveling. The lady at the front desk, Vee was absolutely amazing! Her customer service, the way she made us feel. So welcoming and understanding. She made sure we all had fresh sheets and towels. Definitely would come again!
