SpringHill Suites by Marriott Great Falls

Great customer service and comfortable rooms! The only reason for the 4 vs 5 star is the proximity to the train tracks and the train that often comes through after midnight blowing its whistle enough times to wake you up! Unfortunately the hotel can’t control the train schedule although if you have a hard time falling back asleep, be sure to request a room in the opposite side of the hotel to avoid the “train wake up call” in the middle of the night. Other than the train the service is amazing, well maintained and managed hotel!

This Springhill Suites location is superb! There's a large lobby and breakfast area and an outdoor lounge area. The rooms are a little larger than standard Springhill Suites rooms and the bathroom is separated into a room with a toilet and sink and another with the shower and sink. Laundry js located on each guest floor but theres only 1 washer and dryer.

Our room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Springhill Suites is very modern in layout and function. There was little noise, so sleep was good. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fine, but there were so many guests trying to eat at the same time that it was somewhat difficult for the staff to keep up with refills. Needless to say, they did a superb job with a smile.

Nice hotel - newer build. Rooms are huge! Get the balcony rooms - more space and can sit on balcony in the evening and watch the river. Breakfast was good. Room layout was different and it made the room seem bigger. Bathroom was big and more efficient use of space. The only drawback is the train rolls through overnight and can hear its horn - tracks are just behind the hotel. If you keep the fan in your room on high it helps muffle the noise. If that’s a problem for you don’t get a balcony room - the other rooms face the other side.

This is a good hotel located on the river with only railroad tracks and parks in between. The infrequent trains did not bother us. The hotel welcomed pets and it was ideal to be able to walk right off the patio to the parks for the dogs. The trail runs along the river for a good distance. The room was large, modern and reasonably well equipped. Breakfast was good but not exceptional in any way.
