Had to wait in the lobby for more than 30 minutes since there was no one at the front desk to check in, a lady finally arrived to the desk who was clearly under the influence of something. Told her I had a reservation, she was not able to comprehend what I was telling her, she was fumbling and pecking on the computer screen to find my reservation. She asked me for my credit card to charge a security deposit, after the card was swiped I asked to make sure this was for a refundable security deposit. She started to mumble and I had to ask her several times to get an answer, she said it was for the room and is not refundable. I asked her to cancel the transaction since I already have a reservation but she said there are no refunds and was going on a tangent about random stuff. I really did not want to deal with a person who was clearly not in the right state of mind after driving for 9 hours straight and just wanted to go to bed. So I had to forgo my reservation and the mistaken charge and go to a different hotel.

I stayed at this same motel eight years ago and found it descent for the money. My stay this time was the dirtiest I’ve experienced in years if ever. The owner was rude and the place seemed mostly close to being closed down. When I asked about ice he told me to go to the hotel across the street as this one had been broken for a while. Will never return.

Hmmm… Where to start. Manager assigned me to a room. It’s doubtful that staff had even cleaned it since previous customer. The bathroom was not cleaned. There were no towels or soap at all in the room. I went down and spoke with a manager and he told me he would send housekeeping to bring towels. That never happened. Furthermore, there were light fixtures/Fans that did not have covers on them and there was junk strewn around the hallways. Also there were windows to the other rooms that has what appeared to be bullet holes in them. Needless to say, no More More Motel 6 for me.

This place has the signs of foreclosure. I dont think the owner of this place really cares about what's happening here. We booked third party and was greeted kindly enough by the young man at the desk. However, the room we received was not clean. The beds had no bottom sheets. Just a top and blanket. No towels in the bathroom. Hair all over the sink and shower. Toilet bowl was sticky on every rim. Empty toilet paper roll. Unswepped floors. It was actually pretty disgusting. I've worked in hospitality myself 7 years and know the drill. We booked third party, meaning we'd play hell and take days to get a refund and this was a tight budget trip to begin with so I cleaned the room and went and bought my own towels to use. This is not a good look at all. In fact, I'd recommend avoiding this place like the plague. Even for the low price, it's just not worth it. Me and finance and friend will be updating our shots after this stay for sure.
