The Historic Madison Hotel Motel

This is a great place to stay if you are visiting Yellowstone. The hotel is situated very close to the national park entrance and is easy to find. There is ample free parking on the streets around the hotel, we were lucky and got a space very close to the rear entrance. The rooms are quite small but they are well appointed, comfortable and quiet. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from within walking distance.

We stayed here a few nights last month. It is a historical hotel, but it is well maintained and very clean. Beds were comfortable. There isn't a coffee maker in the room, but they offer coffee and hot chocolate behind the lobby. We would stay here again when in the area.

The Madison is a lovely historic hotel/motel right in downtown West Yellowstone. They are within walking distance of a small grocery store and restaurants. The rooms are well maintained and exceptionally clean. They have everything you need except for a coffee maker. However, they have a wonderful coffee and hot chocolate machine available 24 hours a day in the main building. There is a cute gift shop right next to the lobby and they give a discount if you are staying on property. The staff are very friendly and very informative - you can tell they love this area and this motel! We just loved this motel and highly recommend. If we are ever back to West Yellowstone, we would look forward to staying here again!

Staff is very nice. Good location town for park entrance. Beds are comfortable. Pillows fluffy but flatten. NO ROOM SERVICING. They said this was decided as a town since Covid. Cop out to me. Said they cannot service all now. But you only have the same rooms no matter what. Dirty carpet in room. No coffee pot in room but free coffee and hot chocolate in office/store. Should be under 200.00 a night. We are from Charleston, S C. Same staffing issues but rooms get serviced! Pick somewhere else
