We have stayed before and have been happy. This time we had cold showers, no coffee at 645AM, and the breakfast selection was pitiful. The front desk was swamped with very unhappy visitors, and the manager was nowhere to be found. We were told someone would get back to us, but no one has. Will not stay there again

Rating: ⭐⭐ I recently stayed at Quality Inn St. Robert - Ft. Leonard Wood on November 27th, 2024, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Check-in was subpar, and I was shocked to find out that the pool was closed. This was heartbreaking for my children, as the pool was a major reason we chose this hotel. To make matters worse, a sign on the pool door indicated it was supposed to be fixed by November 12th. We even spent an additional $30 specifically for the pool amenities, which were unavailable. The issues didn’t stop there—there was mold in the bathtub, and there was no warm water for a shower. When I addressed the staff about no hot water, there was no urgency except we will send maintenance. These are basic expectations for a comfortable stay, and it was disappointing they weren’t met. I was told a general manager was going to be available at checkout. They were not available so I was told I would receive a call No phone call has been completed. The only redeeming part of our stay was the breakfast and the friendly breakfast staff. However, I hope management addresses these concerns and improves communication and maintenance moving forward. At this time, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for small families or newlyweds. No elevator available. Key not functional for side doors. This version balances clarity with professionalism while emphasizing the key issues.

We were greeted by Very friendly staff! Clean rooms, comfortable beds! My husband appreciated that there was a fan we could borrow for the night for some white noise. A nice breakfast with hot options! (Eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffles). Our children were greeted with kindness with each staff encounter. Quiet hotel. We will return the next time we pass through the area!

I’ve made a reservation for a queen bedroom for me and my family for my daughters MP graduation, we planned to check out early because of no running water and some weird smell coming from the a/c unit that was in my room. I’d called to make sure I’d received a refund for my stay, but neither the GM or manager has returned my call, and whenever I did call, I would be told to wait until the next day around seven in the morning. I have never been more discouraged and disrespected by the lack of effort this hotel gave me. if you and your family members are planning to find a quick stay near the base. I wouldn’t suggest this hotel.

Hotel on the outside could definitely use some work. Hotel lobby and entrance were clean, and we were greeted by staff. They don't have an elevator for their second story. We're young enough to haul all our stuff up the stairs. We entered room 231 (i'll never forget that number), and immediately it smelled of urine and mold and cigarettes (even though it's a non-smoking hotel)? It was disgusting. The furniture was all chipped and the large faux leather chair had arms that were all peeling off. We immediately knew we'd be leaving. We hauled all our stuff back down the stairs, cancelled our second night and drove 500 feet to the amazing Holiday Inn Express & Suites. It was a beautiful stay all around, with one of the best/cleanest continental breakfast we have ever eaten. We have traveled often and stayed at other Quality Inns. This one was, by far, the worst. I will be writing to their corporate office to try to get our money back for that first nights stay. Ugh.
