Holiday Inn Express Oak Grove an IHG Hotel

We had a great stay coming through from Colorado. My family has regularly stayed at holiday inns over the years, and this hotel was definitely above average. The room was clean and the staff were kind. We appreciated that they were pet friendly as well.

Two stays here in different rooms. The lobby and common areas were clean, staff friendly. Only one elevator in service made long waits from 4th floor. My room was fairly clean minus the dog hair on my socks. Bed was comfortable. My issue was the loud latching noises in the middle of the night kept waking me up both nights different rooms. The price was reasonable for IHG members. I left before breakfast was served but coffee was good and fresh at 5am.

We’ve stayed at several Holiday Inn Express hotels and this one is one of the best. Our room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked. The staff members were pleasant and helpful. There was ample parking and we felt safe leaving our vehicle in the lot.

Sometimes it’s hard to know from a picture and a few reviews what the hotel is really like! We’ve had some bad ones! But this was a good stop! All employees should wear an ID badge or HIE shirt, just to make it all legit! Even tho next to a truck stop we had no issues with loud trucks! Thank you!!

Stayed one night here on our way back from Colorado to Florida. Nice clean spacious room, really comfortable bed, nice modern walk in shower. Our room looked out over the truck stop but we weren't disturbed by noise at all during the night. Receptionist was a fellow Englishman so we had a nice chat on the way in and the way out! Only downside is there's not much choice for non fast food eateries nearby - we ended up backtracking toward KC to find a decent place to eat and have a drink.
