Sleep Inn Kansas City International Airport

Decent hotel stay. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Several lights were out but was a short stay so didn’t worry about those. Breakfast was very disappointing. Biscuits were rock hard and gravy did not look good (overcooked and dried over 50% of the surface).

We arrived super late one night and was welcomed in the hotel. There’s a very lovely host who goes by the name Michael. He helped and assisted with our stay. It felt like we had our very own concierge. I wish google could have half the common courtesy that this hotel has.

I’ve had positive experiences with Sleep Inn before, so I was looking forward to this stay. Check in did not disappoint, as the front desk staff was friendly and efficient. However, when I got to my room, things seemed a bit off. Overall the room was in good condition, but there was a distinct smell of weed, which remained through my stay despite having the A/C running to dissipate it. Then I noticed stains on the bed cover. When I opened the refrigerator, I found a plastic bag of food left by the previous guest. The next day, upon taking a shower, I found some strands of hair clinging to the wall of the stall. These are small details that can be remedied by more careful inspection of the room when it is cleaned in between guests. Breakfast was also below par as it had a very limited variety of choices. The gravy for the biscuit was cold (granted I arrived right when service began, but it could have been warmed up a few minutes before). The back door was propped open with a rock.

This was absolutely the filthiest hotel I have ever stayed in. I have traveled all over the world and this one by far is the worst. The rooms smelled bad, the floors and counters were dirty and I was in fear for my health. I've stayed in Sleep Inns in Kansas and Colorado that were top notch. This wasn't even in the same ballpark. I showed up 20 minutes early and was told I would have to wait because the manager wouldn't approve. This really was just the dirtiest most unfriendly place I have ever stayed at and would not recommend it to anyone.

No soap in shower, soap dish at sink was dirty,bedspread had spots that looked like blood? Room service was a rip off. And yes we read that they were not part of this hotel But they DID recommend them. Ok My husband speaks with the person taking the order and was told it would be 21.95 for a pound of plain wings. Then total was raised to over 37 dollars? Delivery took more than 45 minutes and it was from Godfathers Pizza? We could have ordered from them directly and there sure was not a POUND of wings. Oh wait there is more,for a non smoking place it sure did smell like cigarettes and cigars. When we checked out No-one even asked if everything. Was okay.We have been to other Choice Hotels and this one was surely at disappointment
