Radisson RED Minneapolis Downtown

Stayed here for a Vikings game because it was close to the stadium and we could walk there. Our room was ok. Bed was ok comfort was ok. The fridge didn’t work , there was no body wash in the room with the shampoo which there was two bottles and conditioner. The paid lot was full so we had to lug our bags for two blocks where we luckily found a parking spot on the street. My husband forgot his charger in the room so we called and was told to go to a website..??? So it’s hard telling if we will get it back. The location was the only thing that was great for this place. However we will not be back.

Great location for US Bank Stadium and using the metro rail. Stayed 4 nights and our rim was not cleaned at all. Able to get clean towels and what not from the front desk but trash was never emptied, etc. Service was very mediocre. Bathroom door didn’t close all the way and since the bathroom door is glass, if you turn the light on in the bathroom it lights up the entire room. 3 out of 5 stars for service. Liked the location.

This is my second time staying at the Raddison Red. I love it! The bed is super comfortable, great shower, wonderful products, very clean, encasements on the beds, fantastic location, and stylish. The darkener shade covers the entire window.

While the hotel staff is friendlyI and helpful, good luck with parking. Their $30 a day parking is only available to people who are around at 1230 after they check the parking area. Upon checkin at 930 pm there was nothing, checked at 9 am, 11am, 12 am,and they had nothing. Checked at 325and they were all gone. Street parking means moving your car every 4 hours. Really ruins the experience. Ugh.

When booking this hotel, I had the impression that this brand is one of the top brands of Choice. But I was surprised by the following: 1) Upon checking into the hotel at about 10 PM, the front desk staff behaved unprofessionally. He handed me my cards, etc., without saying anything during the whole checking process. 2) Walking in the hallway like walling in a not-cleaned bathroom. Smells like a toilet. 3) When I checked in, there were no bath towels in the room or bathroom. They forgot to put them in the room. The front desk asked me to go to the front desk to get the towels because he did not deliver them. 4) I ordered a 12-pack extra soft toothbrush and had Amazon delivered it to the hotel. Amazon confirmed that the package was delivered and signed by the front desk, Oliaka. When I checked with the hotel front desk, the package was open, and only three toothbrushes were left in it. 5) The hotel texted me to ask about my first day's experience. I texted back, but nobody gave me any feedback. If I travel back to Minneapolis again, I don't think I will stay at this place again.
