The staff really work hard to make things right, but the weekend was kind of a catastrophe. No hot water in the evening when my daughter wanted to take a bath. The large number of folks in the lobby waiting to check in at 5:15-6pm because the rooms they had reserved weren't available because I guess they had been given to other people earlier I guess? It was a weird scenario. Not really sure what went wrong that we were all (over 20 ppl, at least 6 individual groups) asked to downgrade to a king from double bed situation. Then we were in the room a few minutes, then all the sudden the door was jiggling, because someone else had been assigned the room we had just moved into. There was also a problem where people were complaining that they had prepaid parking but the parking garage was completely full. And while we booked with breakfast included on a reservation I made for 2 adults and 2 children, I got a breakfast ticket for 2. But it was so chaotic, I didn't want to argue about it. And I know the staff (who were patient, kind, and friendly, and didn't escalate at all despite super hostile people) were doing their best to make whatever had gone wrong work out. I know that whatever had gone wrong was something that had rolled out of control, but it was a lot.

I am a lifetime Diamond member. This means Iāve stayed at a lot of Hilton properties. This is one of the worst. First, the girl at the front desk was quite unfriendly. Enough that her manager noticed and tried to come help. He was quite nice and the reason this hotel got 2 stars instead of 1. Second the pillows are tiny and not the normal Doubletree ones. My room was so hot. But it appears the air is off until summer. The room was not very clean. The toilet was actually super gross with permanent black stuff in it. Basically nothing at the hotel was Doubletree standard and I got very little sleep due to the excessive heat.

Lousy hotel, lousy service. They donāt care because they are so close to Target HQ. Avoid the room ending by 6, they are just behind the elevators and the ice machine, youāre not going to sleep at all. Just walk away and find another place, there are plenty

Stayed here for a volleyball tournament and while it is conveniently located to the convention center, that is the only good thing about this hotel. Upon arrival, it was 75 degrees outside. Our room was hot so I turned on the A/C. When we returned 3 hours later, the room was still hot. I called down to the front desk and was told that they donāt āturn onā the A/C until the summertime. I should open my window (which opens an entire 3-4 inches at best. There is zero air flow in the room. They also told me that it was going to be 40 degrees the next day so it should cool off by thenā¦..ummm okā¦.but itās hot and muggy today!! How does a hotel not have a working AC system? Need ice??? There are 12 floors in the building. Ice is available on 2 floors. There are machines on all floors but they are either broken or they donāt turn them on. There was no toilet paper holder or trash can in our room. The pillows were tiny and pancake flat. Stayed there for 3 nights and never saw housekeeping or received any clean towels. I had to go down to the front desk to pick up towels. There is a restaurant in the lobby but it is rarely open. Ended up going to the British pub around corner. Save your money and book someplace else.

Rooms and common spaces rundown, dirty, and not well maintained. Loud guests and parties, marijuana smell everywhere. Toilet wasnāt working even after maintenance came and suggested we hold down the handle for 30 seconds. Full not queen beds in the double room. No bedding for pullout. Had to call desk both nights to complain about noise from surrounding rooms. We had friends staying too, they reported loud parties on other floors and one friend had no heat in her room.
