Number of things went wrong. Was our an over and our kids wanted to send us flowers and a bottle of bubbly. Common in our family to do that when we are away. Both adult âkidsâ aborted after finding it near impossible to get anything but a no answer. On of the family managed to get a commitment that there would be a bottle of wine in the room , that never happened. Between having a âtext us what you needâ service that is unresponsive , and not having our room serviced three nights out of 5 , and having the hotel blame us for our DND being on after 10 AM , which we did once (10:30) and I messaged them on the text service daily , to no action. The facility is great , but is completely unreliable , promises broken and a general lack of central co- ordination. Itâs as if the management team doesnât know how the internal departments work. Not Hilton Service and Hilton should leave this haunted place .

A little disappointed in our experience. Very poor signage coming in from Amtrak. And Very hard to find our room after we finally found the front desk. Finally finding our room, had burned out lights. 1 washcloth, no coffee pods, no shower wash. Asked for a blanket and received a dirty comforter. Positive side, Grand Hall experience was wonderful, and breakfast was a great experience! We had a delightful waitress! And Robert Johnson was so sweet!

I have stayed at Curio Collection hotels before and loved my experience. This was NOT the case with this hotel. Besides being old/dated, when we arrived, our room wasn't ready. Once they figured out a room to give us that was ready, we were greeted with dirty dishes outside the room. Which stayed there for our entire stay. Things were broken in the room (like the pump for the body wash), no tissues, and if you were looking to find out more about the pool- it was closed in March. I could not find this info on the hotel website so I thought that maybe even though it is an outside pool, I thought maybe it was heated and able to be used. I had bummed kids. Also, parking is $40 if you self park in the lot that is a few streets away, To me, this left me questioning my ability to vet hotels for our family because this was NOT worth the price. I will say that the room are solid and you do not hear much outside noise. And the lobby area is beautiful but they were also hosting a wedding event so there were a ton of people all around the hotel.

Great hotel and staff. They upgraded me to a great suite and were amazing. We had a tornado in the area and even during the evacuation to the hotel basement the team went above and beyond to keep us safe and calm. Great job! They kept us well informed throughout the day and made sure everyone was safe by providing extra security!

The place is so big and there is so much to do. They have light shows every night in the gigantic lobby with projectors. If you walk to the back of the hotel, the outside has restaurants, Ferris wheels, and a pool full of Koi fish. It has so much space to walk around. It has a gym, and a Starbucks. They have scavenger hunts that will keep kid engaged. Overall, this was a great place to stay.
