Pear Tree Inn St. Louis Near Union Station

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were soft. The location was close to the enterprise center and in a safe area. All areas were clean. Would stay there again. Loved the free parking and wi-fi. Front desk said that there is a shuttle for some large events in the area. The staff seemed to enjoy their job, laughing and smiling. The breakfast was good and the 24 hour coffee was good.

Clean, comfortable rooms, convenient location. This is owned by the Drury chain so there are similarities - breakfast buffet and evening kick back - but only with beer and wine options, and only snacks (chips/salsa, popcorn). We were on the 9th floor. Very quiet. The refrigerator tended to freeze everything regardless of temperature settings. Free parking. Basically 15-20 minute drive to the zoo, Arch. There’s also a restaurant just off the lobby. Would stay here again.

The service of this hotel was top notch. On our first night (we stayed three) we discovered the shower was not working properly. I went down to the front desk and Ms. Dorris got us another room of the same type. No muss, no Fuss. The hotel is conveniently located to most area attractions (walking distance to the Arch, Union Station) and a short drive to the Botanical Gardens. Breakfast was good and plentiful and the coffee including the decaf was always fresh and hot.

I haven't stayed at a Pear Tree Inn before (I have stayed at Drury). I was impressed with this property. I believe Pear Tree is a budget line and I totally was happy! The staff were all great. I was welcomed in the evening (Reggie and I forget the wonderful woman who checked me in). Breakfast was A+, especially for a budget property. The room was totally clean and for an older property, I have absolutely no concerns about maintenance and layout!
