Very happy with the stay on March 7th thru the 9th. Location was perfect for walk to the ARCH & Missouri valley basketball tournament. Breakfast was very good. Would like to give a shout out to the worker who went the extra to help with a request at breakfast. Room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. The architecture of the building was interesting and a plus. The valet service was quick and professional. Highly recommend this Downtown Hotel.

I can see why this hotel only has a 3 star rating. My sheets were stained and they didn't seem to concerned about much of anything. Contacted the front desk and they didn't have replacement sheets. Called the Manager the next day regarding the sheets and never got a call back. Finally got a call back 2 weeks later after I filled out the survey and the manager didn't even apologize. Basically said I see you took it up with Corporate. The only saving grace about this hotel is the breakfast and how nice and large the rooms are.

The hotel is OK. It's a cool old buildling that has been renovated into a hotel, and it is a bit run down. Our room was loud and cramped. I felt terrible for the front desk worker, who seemed to be alone and handling everything on her own. The location was central to the City Museum, which was where we were headed, but this hotel was only OK.

I was nervous when my company booked me a room here after reading previous reviews, but I became happily surprised! I stayed 3 nights at the end of November and I was on the 5th floor. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating, despite the hotel being at maximum capacity. I was also greeted by the housekeeping staff one morning and they, too, were very professional and very friendly. My room was very clean - no complaints at all. The breakfast was awesome: biscuits and gravy, pancakes, waffles, omelettes, etc (coffee was great!). My colleagues at other hotels were envious. Also, the security guards here were ever-present (and very courteous), which gave me a secure feeling while I was staying there. Would stay here again in a minute.

I've visited this Hilton twice (a year apart) and both times were incredibly disappointing. The first time we had to wait a few hours for a room to be available and the linens were not all in the room. The breakfast was barely stocked. At least they tried to help by comping our valet. Second time our room was incredibly dirty. Dirt on the floor, dirty shower/mirrors and floor in the bathroom (thankfully they did get us a new room). Breakfast in the morning was again poorly stocked. All they had was waffles and sausage. No breads, cereal, fruit, etc. It's pretty clear that this hotel is poorly run and incredibly low staffed. Why have a hotel if you can't keep the rooms clean or provide the included breakfast? The only reasons I gave this hotel any stars: 1. Great location 2. The rooms are nice when they are cleaned. 3. The staff tried to fix the problems by offering free valet and a new clean room.
