This hotel was definitely not the best I have ever stayed in. The Hilton app gave me an option for an e-standby upgrade. So, I did not choose a room ahead of time. When we checked in, we were told they were overbooked. The woman stated "I have a great room for you." It wasn't great. We were on the expressway side so the cars were loud at night. The room was hot as the fan/AC kept shutting off once it hit 67. There are only 3 elevators; one of them was acting up and had to be shut down for a bit so it was a nightmare to get an elevator. No stairwell led directly to the lobby. The rooms did not have microwaves due to "fire code" per one of the staff members. We have been in other Hiltons with microwaves so not sure what that was about. There are 2 in the lobby. However, I had to lug everything and wait for an elevator. Kind of a pain. The pool had so much bleach in it, my eyes started burning just from sitting in a chair. Breakfast was the standard Hampton breakfast. The gym is tiny and the water cooler in there was out of order. There is a refillable bottle water fountain by the restrooms in the lobby. The staff was friendly so I opted for 4 stars instead of 3 stars. It is a quick walk to the arch, a 15-20 minute walk to Busch Stadium and a 20-30 minute walk to the City Museum.

We stayed here for a volleyball tournament at Americaās Center. It was only about a 6 minute walk so that was great. The Arch is very close and walkable. With all the girls staying for the tournament the staff at breakfast did a great job at keeping the food stocked. All the staff was very friendly throughout the hotel. The fitness is quite tiny .

One night stop for a quick Arch visit and continuing out trip. Great location downtown and walking distance to the Arch and other sights. Hotel had plenty of parking, though spaces are tight. Security is excellent, have covered unloading area at entrance and key-controlled access to parking area. Check in and out was smooth, efficient, and very friendly. Room was good-sized with nice (non-Arch) view of the city. Room was clean and everything we used worked. Included breakfast was typical hot items. Waffle maker is a nice addition. Good stay, would return. Didn't have time to explore more of the area, but this would be a good place to do so.

I was a little worried about walking safety and convenience to the Arch as well as whether grandparents/parents/elementary age school children (+ dog!) would feel safe in a downtown St. Louis hotel. No worries! While the parking ramp was a bit cramped and awkward for our van, parking was convenient to our two adjoining rooms, and it was an easy 15 minute walk to the Arch. Front desk staff were friendly, the rooms quiet, and breakfast adequate.

Staff was very friendly upon arrival and the desk had to buzz you in the sliding glass door to enter the lobby. I liked that and made me feel better that homeless people and criminals have limited access. Interesting how the new policy is no room service unless you need it but that works for us. Parking garage spaces were extremely too small. Most average Americans strive at least a mid size or compact SUV and I even had trouble parking my midsize SUV inside the garage and Iām an excellent driver. The parking garage was secured by doors and a security guard at night. I liked that. Three elevators donāt seem to be enough but not much can be done about that. Breakfast was on average. I wish the eggs were not powdered. The oatmeal is always fantastic. The pancake batter dispenser needs to be raised just an inch or two. Three elevators donāt seem to be enough but not much can be done about that. Breakfast was on average. I wish the eggs were not powdered. The oatmeal is always fantastic. The waffle batter dispenser needs to be raised just an inch or two higher so that the cups can fit underneath the dispenser. It would be nice to see an arch logo in the waffle iron. The rooms were decently clean, but the room showed moderate to heavy wear on furniture carpet walls. Air conditioning unit in room 1612 was very noisy when it shut off. I would have liked to seen an air conditioner that has a fan that runs constantly for white noise sheets and towels were clean. I like that we had plenty of towels. The arch view room was just okay. Itās partially blocked by a neighboring building. I think we paid $11 extra for the view which was decent. The windows are not sound proof so bring earplugs for the nights with loud mustangs and Harleyās on the streets!!! I felt secure staying in the hotel which was nice being downtown. I wish there was a hot tub, and I noticed that it was being filled in. That seems to be the norm at most hotels anymore anyway. The exercise bike, peloton, was unusable due to a broken seat clamp. That kind of ruined a little bit of my experience due to that is the only way that I wish to work out daily no free water was offered being a Hilton Honors member. I didnāt like how the rooms did not have a microwave! The shelves where the microwave could have sat were completely useless. Definitely need to re-introduce microwave. I thought the room rate was great for the location and if it was any higher, I wouldāve stayed somewhere else. Again, I would like to complement how friendly the staff was. It was very surprising and refreshing, especially for being in such a big city thatās not known to be very friendly. $30 a day for parking is a bit steep, especially given. The parking situation was very cramped. I even heard some room guest had to park on the street and Iām sure they still got charged $30 a day for parking. I will return if I have an event at the Americas Center (dome) again. Otherwise Iāll return to my fav hotel in STL which is the Hampton Inn on south I55
