This was a mother-daughter trip for the three of us (TX, MO, NY) to enjoy three nights together. Our suite was spacious and clean. We liked having a restaurant attached; the meal we ate there was delicious. Breakfast was okay (the omelet lady was fantastic!). The desk lady was wonderful. The location was terrific. BUT, finding a table in the mornings was difficult as no one was keeping up with bussing the tables. The coffee was terrible and when we tried the coffee shop they only had decaf. The snacks at the happy hour were less than impressive and one of the bartenders was rude (the other was wonderful). In the end, yes, we would probably stay here again.

This has always been our favorite hotel in Saint Charles, we've stayed here many times. We've tried every other hotel in the are and always go back to Embassy but that may change. We have noticed a significant decline the past few years. We didn't even eat breakfast this time because the last time we did (a few months ago) it wasn't very good. The nightly reception used to be wonderful but not anymore. The snack selection is minimal at best. There is one bartender with an extremely long line. The bartender is the most sour, unfriendly woman we have ever dealt with. She doesn't smile and acts like she is doing you a favor. We stayed 3 nights and one of the nights beer wasn't an option because it "wasn't working." Other Embassy Suites hotels don't cap at 2 drinks. She spent more time marking the papers so nobody would get anymore to drink than she did caring about customer service and keeping the line moving. Who wants to stand in line for most of the reception time? Ridiculous! On our last night there were people partying in another room at all hours of the night (not sure where it was coming from). The people next to us were banging on our wall and there was nothing we could do about it, we heard it too. It was raining outside so it had to be above or below us since the housekeeping closet was on the other side of us. Our toilet was clogged when we got there and no sign with the room #, as if it had been ripped off the wall. We weren't recognized as Hilton Honors members. The rooms are looking worn and need updated. Not sure we won't stay elsewhere the next time we are in town. This is very disappointing to us.

We had 6 bikes and we asked the front desk person where we can put them and she said the storage closet but guess what there was no room for them. In the middle of the night we went down to get some more blankets but we got towels. Also in the middle of the night are room got super hot randomly and we didnât even mess with the thermostat.

First time staying here. The hotel staff was friendly upon arrival, especially Geneva. Lobby was typical of an ES hotel. Staff kept dining and bar area clean which was nice. The hotel actually hat a hot tub which was amazing but was under maintenance and I could not use it. Pool was warm, which I like, but was small and full of kids so I didnât try. I had a corner room which was super nice and very roomy. AC worked great. Windows were super insulted from outside noise where I couldnât hear one car on the highway. AC is quiet running so if you like noise when you sleep, bring a fan. Two TVs in the corner room was nice. Some of the furniture had very slight wear, but nothing extraordinary. The mattress was very comfortable. The room provides to real drinking glasses, which is nice if you bring your own drinks (bourbon). Your room and bathrooms were very clean. The managerâs reception was 530 to 7:30 PM every night and they supplied tickets that you have to get at the check-in counter before you can get two free drinks per person per night. The drinks offer were just well drinks, cheap wine, and pre-mixed margaritas. The margaritas were really good, but donât expect anything potent tip your bar tender, and be nice to him and he may or may not throw an extra drink your way. I did not visit the attached convention center but the access was very easy. Parking in front is slim so plan on parking and back and already having a key or digital key with you if you donât have a key stop at the front desk first parking lot and back is huge. Breakfast was slightly above typical of any Hilton hotels. Hot eggs, sausage biscuits and gravy. Weâre offered every day along with waffles oatmeal bread, but the real kicker was the homemade omelette station which is always very very busy so get there early.

The check in process was flawless easiest we have experienced in quite sometime. Room spacious, clean. Staff friendly. Breakfast is very good. Room was quiet. Some reviews mentioned the traffic noise. Although this hotel is near a major highway, we did not experience this.
