Best Western Plus Hotel St. Louis West Chesterfield St. Charles

I booked through Priceline and it showed as a Best Western Plus. Once arriving we realized the entire hotel was under construction. And the hotel was now called the Research Park Inn. The lobby area was very torn up and the social areas adjacent to the lobby are unusable. We checked in and got to elevator to see only one working. We got to room and the air conditioner was not on. The room was about 80 degrees. We turned on the AC unit to cool the room down. The room was absolutely filthy. The carpet was stained. Surfaces were not clean. The mirrors were not clean. The bathroom was disgusting. The toilet was not even cleaned at all. There was hair all over the floor and shower. I could not believe we had booked a 3 star hotel on Priceline. The walls were beat up and the fan in the bathroom had a layer of dust. We woke up the next morning to a really sad breakfast option. I was super disappointed in the entire experience. The pool was green and the outside pool was closed. There was construction everywhere.

I booked Best Western Plus 3 star hotel for March 24, 2023 through Priceline. Upon arrival it did not say Best Western on the building. It said Research Inn. I asked the gentleman at check-in if it was a Best Western. He said that they bought the hotel 2 months ago. I walked into the hotel room it was dirty. The shower had mildew and mold. I took a wash cloth to wipe off the shower and it came off onto the cloth. There was hair and urine on the toilet seat. The floor had stains. The walls were dirty. I took pictures of everything. I went to front desk and told the gentleman that the room was dirty. He said the hotel was completely booked and could not change rooms. I asked if there was housekeeping on staff. They said no. I asked for cleaner and a rag. I ended up cleaning the shower and toilet myself. The next morning I went to take a shower and there was NO hot water. I called priceline and all they wanted to do was give me a 20% off coupon for next booking. This is false advertisement I booked for Best Western 3 star hotel and this hotel was a 1 star at best. We had drove 12 hours that day and we were exhausted. I shouldn’t have to clean my own hotel room. I am completely appalled over the situation.

This hotel had roaches crawling around and there was hair in the bathtub and on the bed there were stains all over the carpet as well. The stairs had bugs everywhere. There was dead roaches on the floor as well. When asked for a refund I was told that I couldn’t get one even though we checked in at 6 pm and left at 8 pm

The hotel rooms look run-down and dirty. The lobby is currently under renovation, unsure about the rooms. Booked a non-smoking room but got assigned to a smoking room. The staff denied it's a smoking room; asked me to leave. Good thing is they provided the full refund. I would not recommend this hotel unless all rooms are renovated, and the service attitude improves.

There is no name on the building just a number. The room appeared clean when I walked in. I killed six bugs throughout the night. I did mention the condition to the front desk with no response. The "breakfast" consisted of jugs of milk and juice you pour yourself and some pastries. I will not go back and it wasn't even the best price. There were odd noises all night.
