BLUFF: Wouldn't stay here again, even if I was paid to. This was booked through a travel company as part of a volleyball tournament. Check-in went smoothly, and we told the front desk that we'd be leaving a day early. We also called a week ahead of time to confirm we'd be able to leave a day early. No problem, but both the reservation company and the front desk failed to tell us there's a $75 fee for early check-out. It should be noted that if you park in the back of the building, there's no entrance in the back; they're in the garage or on the side of the building. The garage entrance hasn't been cleaned regularly, from looking at the floor & corners of the area. The atrium & hallways have Spanish styling to math downtown's plaza area, but could use a refresher. Many tiles were cracked, buttons for the elevator were in disrepair, there were missing/cracked roof shingles, and the chairs have stains from use. The hotel bar had flat soda, and the mixed drink of 3 ingredients I ordered could not have possibly been more incorrectly made. The room itself is dated. The upholstery on the couches and chairs are stained & worn. The air intake filter for the room and the vent in the bathroom hasn't been cleaned regularly. The AC works well. The sheets seemed clean, but the comforter was "dank" - for lack of a better term. The carpet is dark and any stains were unnoticeable, but it makes the room feel more dark & old. In the bar/microwave area, the tile grout still had confetti from a previous guest. There is little/no soundproofing between rooms or to the outside streets. Since this hotel is across the street from a hospital and in the middle of the city, expect to hear all kinds of sirens & emergency vehicles throughout the night. The shower & bathroom were TINY. There was debris under/behind the toilet, evidently not regularly cleaned. The breakfast bar was edible, but we noticed there was a bug escaping from our strawberries after we put some on our plate. Omelets were good though. At about 3:30 AM during our second night, I woke up to what sounded like a tornado siren. After a few minutes of looking out to see if anyone was out of their rooms, I called the front desk. They said that it was housekeeping vacuuming the embrace & atrium.... At 3:30 AM. The vacuuming continued for another 30 minutes or so. Ultimately, this was not worth the money, and the made-from-scratch omelet couldn't make up for all the negatives.

This place is DISGUSTING! In our group of travelers, we had one room without hot water, one without HVAC, multiple with black mold, a backed-up sink, a falling ceiling shower. People found hair in their breakfast, on and on GROSS! Plus $25 extra a night for parking. Skip this one!

Do not stay here. If I could give 0 stars I would. The only thing pleasant was the man at the front desk, the two people cleaning up the breakfast area in the morning (the gentleman working the grill in the kitchen was absolutely rude and clearly hated his job) and Christy in accounting. The place is absolutely run down and filthy. Our room was sup par with one having a stain on the bed skirt and one bed without. Fridge was so frozen over we could hardly use it. Not a clean window on site and if it werenât for our family of 5 not being able to find accommodations elsewhere last minute we would not have stayed. Hotel pool has been closed by the health department and the pool bathrooms were disgusting. Couldnât even honor the $3 upgrade to a different kind of beer at happy hour because of lack of availability(to upgrade a bottled beer it cost me $7) . This is by far the worst hotel Iâve stayed at and to be honest it has me second guessing every Hilton property I will book in the future.
