Holiday Inn Express & Suites St. Louis West Fenton an IHG Hotel

I chose this hotel while working in St Louis because I was able to use reward points over the weekend (a rarity for IHG hotels). Decent location, clean grounds, inviting lobby. The GM was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was fine. The room I was in was a jacuzzi with a small attached twin room. The hotel is an older property that seems maintained but could use a renovation. My room was clean and bed comfortable. I would stay again.

We reserved 2 rooms for 4 days & a friend also reserved a room. We requested to have our rooms cleaned, but they were only cleaned 2 out of the 4 days. Traveling with children we needed fresh towels & clean rooms. I won't stay at a Holiday Inn again!!

Friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms and handy to get to Barnes Jewish Hospital. The rooms were quiet. Breakfast was good and pancake machine was awesome. Convenient to several places to eat - White Castle, Bandana Barbeque, McDonald’s, etc and a convenience store nearby. The only problem we found was they ran out of the evening cookies before we got any.

One of the nicest hotels we have stayed at. Upon entering the lobby, you are greeted with free lemonade and water, candy treats for the kids, fresh individual wrapped cookies, dog treats and scoop bags. There is even a do it yourself shoe shine stand in the lobby. Plus there was two bottles of water in the room. Will stay again when passing through.

Can’t decide what I think about this hotel. If I had seen it and the room first, I would not have stayed here. Very outdated carpet, wallpaper, and furniture. But… the bed was very comfortable (obviously newer); room was very quiet; the air conditioner was great; and the tub seemed to be new (although the bathroom was small and outdated). The price was lower than many hotel rooms in the area, and we really were only there to sleep. Pool was completely closed for total renovation - May 2024. Internet was not working the night we stayed.
