Residence Inn St. Louis Clayton

I love the location of this hotel- proximity to a grocery store (Straub's), local restaurants, Shaw Park, and WashU. This relatively new hotel was very nice and clean and quiet. We stayed on the 7th floor. The gym was comfortable and larger than other hotels we've stayed at. Breakfast was a nice addition. Plan to stay here again and would highly recommend.

My son and I stayed here while touring Wash U. The room was huge, and very clean. The staff is very friendly. There is a bit of noise from the street and from the hallway, but not bad. The air-conditioning worked well. The bed was too soft for our tastes. I liked that the hotel supplied conditioner in the shower. Parking in the garage next door is convenient, although costs $20/day. I would stay here again. But I do think that Marriott Gold Bonvoy members should be offered free water instead of having to buy it from the market, as well as offered other perks. (I didn't need a late check-out, but this is an example of something that should be offered to members so we feel our membership is giving us something other than a thank you for being a member.)

This a brand new hotel with friendly staff and great studio hotel rooms. Great location next to Shaw Park. I was working virtually and room met my needs. The free breakfast was the best I have ever experienced in hotel. If you have business in the Clayton area, give this hotel a try.

Nice, spacious, clean hotel. I left my pill case with my medication in it in the room. I did not realize this until I had left town. The front desk staff found the pill case in my room. Larry from the front desk asked me to email him a mailing label addressed to my house. I went onto usps.com, created the label and sent it to him. Within an hour he had already gone to the post office to mail it! Exemplary service!

This is by far one of the best Marriott stays I have had. The hotel is fairly new thebstaff we're friendly and professional. The rooms are quite arge, with plenty of amenities and are like new. The breakfast was good with lots of choices. There's plenty of lobby and lounge seating to hang out. A Ross tye street is a great giant park and within a block are nice restaurants and a fancy market. The town is nice. I'd definitely stay here again
