Hilton Garden Inn Tupelo

This Hotel was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I sat at the Bar and ordered a beer and dinner. The bartender said I couldn't eat at the bar. I had to go to the dining area to eat my dinner. I have never experienced this in all of my travels. I asked the bartender to separate my bill with food on one and the beer on another one. He said their system would not work like that. I travel four to five days a week, I have never been treated so poorly. I then talked to the evening manager about my experience, she said there was nothing she could do. I called the Hilton complaint line, and they assured me someone will contact me in 48hrs. As of now, no one has contacted me. I will never go back!!!

The location is next to the Cadence Bank Arena where our event was located. We simply walked over, no fighting traffic. The room was comfortable and I especially liked the coffee/fridge/microwave area with counter space. We used the indoor pool and the pool and the area was spotless. The bar in the lobby was well stocked and had a very nice bartender. We ate breakfast the next morning and for $12 for an adult, had good service, a lot of food in a pleasant setting. I can’t stand a buffet where people just tumble out of bed and handle all the utensils and things. We shower and dress for breakfast and like table service.

Perfect place to stay when attending a concert at the arena! The check in staff was super friendly and Jessica was fun to talk to thru out our stay. Our room was clean and the food was good! I would stay here again whenever we are in town. There is a Mug Shots restaurant across the street as well.

A hotel staff was extremely nice. The rooms were rather outdated. But as clean as they could be in the beds and linens were very comfortable and soft they are due for renovation next year the 1990s decor was still kind of nostalgic. There was a little bit of mold, coming out of the air conditioning unit, but to be expected for an older hotel, awaiting renovation all in all a great stay the place was clean and comfortable.

Good things: Friendly employees! Great bartenders! Not so good: Room 328 smelled musty, furniture not in good shape. I slept with an N95 mask to avoid allergic reaction. The hotel was full so we couldn’t see if a different room would have been better.
