Americas Best Value Inn Tupelo Barnes Crossing

Room 225 has bed bugs. Told us that he was not allowed to give refunds but he eventually gave it to us. We stayed all week but had different rooms. He was rude and did not make this a great experience for us. I will not be back, and I wouldn’t recommend this to my friends or family.

Worst hotel stay ever! Traveling in Mississippi on business on Aug 2, 2024 and the front desk clerk was extremely rude. Once i got into my room and sheets were stained. Pillow cases were stained. Garbage still in the room and the room had a foul odor. Nats or some flying insect were everywhere! I asked for a room change due to how disgusting the room was and denied. I guess you get what you pay for. Never will I recommend this hotel to any friends or colleagues of mine. There are much better options in Tupelo, MS. My advice, stay elsewhere.

I wanted to save money on friday rates They are very high at other hotels in tupelo, Older rooms in good shape ,bathroom clean Nicer than most , Comfy comfy bed Clean premises and parking areas Pleasant surprise. Good value , everywhere else tonight is Extremely expensive Man at front desk was very very nice And pleasant. No hassles Check them out!! Service animal friendly❤️💯 By Barnes Crossing mall Down the street from Baskin Robbins Convenient location 3 mins from Walmart Nearly next door to Aldi.

I believe I got this motel from the "randomizer" of selecting by location and price. It is what it is, an "outside doors" styled motel. Check in is done via a walk up window with a desk clerk behind a glass. Therefore social distancing is really in effect. The room was prepaid and the guidelines were explained. With the exception of no mention of WiFi password and I guess there was not any type of breakfast/to-go bag. The room actually looked very nice with a big bed and modern comforter and bedding. The bathroom was separated with the sink on one side and toilet & shower on the other. The shower room was kinda tiny with the door nearly hitting you upon entry/exit. Aside from having to call up to get the WiFi password, there is not much else to mention.

The room was clean and comfortable. The service was very good. My only gripe was that I wished there had been a better selection for the continental breakfast. The selection was limited. Other than that it was a very good stay for the price we paid.
