Hilton Garden Inn Memphis Southaven MS

We stayed here during a 2-day stop in Memphis. We booked 4 rooms. We are diamond members and were greeted as such on check-in and our benefits were explained. We used the breakfast credit both mornings as it was convenient. The breakfast wasn’t bad, lots of fresh fruit too. It was in a quiet area behind the mall, so there wasn’t much traffic in that part of the mall. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and friendly. Everything about this hotel was clean. The rooms, lobby, bathrooms, dining area, and pool area were all clean. We enjoyed our stay here. I would stay here again.

This is a hotel that provides service to many travelers flying in and out of Memphis. Situated fairly close to the airport, they provide a shuttle to and from the airport when requested. It does take a half an hour or so for it to arrive so be prepared for that. But it comes and does the job. Wait at pillar 16 for the shuttle. The rooms are clean, the service is excellent, breakfast is good.

Our room did not have blackout shade / proper window coverings. A bright light was shining through our window all night, preventing us from being able to sleep. Room wasn’t clean when we checked in. There was food on the floor from previous guests. Breakfast is $14 per person and it’s a buffet. I don’t think it’s worth it, because it wasn’t enough hot food. Containers were empty and we had to wait for them to replenish it. Lady managing breakfast had a prison guard attitude. The only good part about breakfast buffet was fresh berries. Front desk ladies act courteous, but when you tell them about issues such as cleanliness, they just say “I’ll pass it to the team” I am giving a 2 star instead of 1, but this is not it. Also check your bill to make sure there are no overcharges.

The rooms are nasty the bathrooms are just terrible and ugly do better. I can hear when people are taking showers or using the toilets from the people who are higher than me. It’s annoying very cheap lights not the best hotel out there go somewhere else

This is consistently a great stay! My husband, son and I stay here while traveling up north for Christmas. Every time we stayed at this hotel - we were very pleased with our experience! The rooms have always been very clean The hotel is up to date and well decorated! I highly recommend this hotel to all!
