Great stay, welcoming staff and great room with everything you need. Kitchenette, complimentary laundry service. Beautiful, comfy bed. Spotlessly clean accommodation. Only negative was breakfast was only coffee, apples and porridge but no milk. Limited outdoor space to relax but didn't take away from Great accommodation for a couple of nights.

I have been having a reservation for over a month but received a phone call Sunday for Holly that informed me my reservation would be cancel because as of May 1, the hotel will no longer host local residents. You have to live 45 minutes or longer away. Once I question the policy in written, she became very rude. I asked for her manager number and refused stating that she is the general manager. Not only did she refuse, she than told me she was putting me on the block list for questioning the policy and that I could never stay there again. After being very rude, she hang up the phone and kept hanging up when I called back. I will continue to reach out until I contact the general manager. Holly does not need to be working in hospitality with an attitude like hers.

I was so comfortable here at this property! Thank you guys so much for making my business trip feel much like leisure. Clean room, quick acting staff, friendly service! I will be back for very very soon for sure!

Booked for a week-long stay, two months ago. Showed up today to check in, only to have the poor young kid staffing the desk all alone tell us the hotel was OVERBOOKED and we were being sent to a different hotel a mile away! So why couldn't someone call us to tell us of the change BEFORE we arrived? Why were we not told until we ARRIVED after a long day's drive? I can only conclude that management here is utterly incompetent. We have traveled several times a year, for the last 15 years, and NO hotel has EVER pulled this crap on us! So be warned: just because you have a reservation secured with a credit card, that doesn't mean you'll actually be staying here!

The positive elements of this room are: a desk top that multi functions as a dining table for two (desk chair and side chair); comfortable pillows, fine quality sheets and highly absorbent towels; and staff who were customer focused. My husband enjoyed the recliner. The downsides were: silverware was missing and there was not back up to replace it; a timer knob controls the electricity to the stovetop (it was missing and dinner was delayed a bit while the staff found a replacement); the cooking utensils were very limited - only a fork and hard spatula - please add a large spoon and perhaps a rubber spatula; we had only 1 mug and the desk clerk brought us two matching ones. For a long-stay motel, the provided cooking/dining items are very limited. While this didn’t matter to us, please note that Candlewood Suites do not serve a complimentary breakfast. We will try this brand again and we’ll inventory the kitchen upon arrival so we are not delayed at dinner time.
