I passed on two non-chain motels in town because I thought Quality Inn, as a chain, would uphold the same standards I had come to expect from other Quality Inns I stayed at in the past. Not the case. The course of events that turned me off the most was how the owner / manager reacted to a request to move me to a different room. When I first approached my room I noticed the nearby rooms, including the one next door, were noisy. I'm a light sleeper and don't do well with noise. However, I was hungry so I opted to drop my bags, go eat, and deal with the noise later if it was still an issue. After dinner the neighbors were still noisy so I went back to the desk and asked for a different room assignment. First, the owner/manager began to interrogate me about why I wanted to change. I just told him it was noisy. Is that not enough information? Here's the kicker. He got really wrapped up about whether or not I had disturbed the bedding in the room. Essentially, if I had disturbed the bedding, he wouldn't give me a new room. He actually accompanied me to the room to inspect it. He actually turned up his nose at me for asking for a different room but ultimately did move me. That is NOT hospitality. He was making a penny-pinching business decision about whether or not housekeeping would have to spend 5 minutes tucking in the bedspread before deciding to give me a new room. His whole attitude regarding my request was very distasteful to me. Also, the hotel is really old and in desperate need of a remodel. It looks like a remodel was started but they quit mid-project. The outside is partially painted. Also the elevator is out of order. But even if they are repainting the outside, the rooms look like they have the original everything from the...1980s? I would be very surprised if corporate inspectors from Quality Inn visited and found this hotel upholds their standards in order to carry the name Quality Inn.

Terrible hotel the owners are rude and even racist. One of the staff called my 4 year old a “blue face devil”!! The management is not organized nor professional. We should’ve read the reviews first but we were so tired. Lesson learned. The first clue was the empty parking lot. So no noise. The hallways smelled and the room smelled like smoke. So much for non-smoking rooms. I’m a retired health inspector so my first place to check is the mattresses for bed bugs. No bugs present but the mattresses were very stained. Both had what appeared to blood on them. One was heavily stained with blood. The ceiling over the shower looked as if it were going to cave in. It had been patched from previous water damage. The breakfast was less than desirable. Kid’s cereals, bread and warm orange juice. We went to Dunkin down the road. Just keep driving if you can!

This STILL stands out as possibly the worst hotel we've stayed in over the past few years. It was just depressing. It was dirty and sad. So much noise in the hallway all night. The neighbors were busy for hours and you could hear everything. The police even showed up during the night. The bathroom was disgusting and the smell was bad. I'm still recovering months later.

Lacked customer service
