Ramada by Wyndham Diamondhead I 10 Gulfport

The outside of the building is old/dated, but all the rooms and lobby have been remodeled. I was extremely impressed. Rooms were very clean. Very nice and were pet friendly. We left early, so we didn't make use of the breakfast. The roads were under construction and a bit confusing to get there.

Front desk staff was fantastic and accommodating, location is great, and it was one of the cleanest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. Beds were comfortable, mini fridge was huge, big sink and vanity outside the bathroom which I always like especially for multiple people in a room. Would absolutely recommend!

The room was great! Bed was clean and cozy. Everything in the room worked and was nice. Didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub or pool because we didn’t have suits and didn’t know it was inside, but went to see it all. The breakfast was good. Make your own waffles, they had eggs and sausage, assorted breads, cereals, yogurt, juices and coffee. It was very quiet even being it was New Years Eve!

The pool hours are not accommodating at all. It opens at 9 and closes at 8. Also at 8, on the dot, they will be there to make sure you leave. You’re not allowed to take the breakfast back to your room. The breakfast is a very small choice of items and not very pleasing.

I found this place to be so surprisingly pleasant and wonderful! Upon entering, the smell was extremely pleasant and absolutely spotless. Immediately offering me and my family relief after spending a week in Pensacola NC for Helene relief. The ENTIRE hotel is spotless and smells wonderful or of nothing. No odors of previous ‘tenants’ or all those things we have found in hotels with this INCREDIBLY AFFORDABLE price tag. We would stay here over and over. Beds and room completely comfortable and clean. Absolutely wonderful and staff was kind and mild tempered. One thing people should know, the REQUIRE a $100-150 deposit on a CARD. You CANNOT pay it in cash (I tried to avoid refund hassle) and it was an absolute NO. If you are paying with Klarna/Afterpay/Affirm or the like you will STILL HAVE TO PAY THE DEPOSIT ON A CARD.. If you don’t the will NOT rent a room to you and they will call to have your room refunded to wherever you made the reservation through. I KNOW because I ASKED out of worry for others when they wouldn’t take my cash. This hotel is ABSOLUTELY worth the price in EVERY WAY
