We stayed here over the weekend for a basketball tournament. We originally booked a double queen room because we needed two beds, but upon arrival, we were given a king bed with a pull-out couch instead. Although the hotel considers this an “upgrade” due to the extra square footage, we specifically avoided this option during online check-in because pull-out couches are notoriously uncomfortable—and this one was no exception. Despite receiving an email from AmericInn encouraging online check-in, we were informed at the front desk that the hotel doesn’t actually support it, so we had to go through the entire process again in person. Once we got into the room, we were immediately hit with a strong wet dog smell. Normally, I wouldn’t complain too much at a budget hotel, but rates were nearly $200 a night due to the tournament in town, which makes this feel even more disappointing. The cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired. We found two used washcloths hanging over the shower curtain rod—one of which had hair on it—and the bathroom floor was covered in hair as well. When we asked for bedding for the pull-out couch, the sheets we were given were stained and torn. On a positive note, the king bed was fairly comfortable, and the pillows were nice and fluffy. Unfortunately, that’s about the only bright spot in an otherwise frustrating stay.

My partner and I had to stay 2 nights due to a breakdown in our semi. The guy that checked us in quoted us $400 for two nights. The hot water barely got hot enough to not freeze during a shower. Then my partner was told by the front desk that they didn’t charge us for our pets and we would need to pay them the pet fee. At checkout, the lady was too lazy to even come to the desk to check us out and told us to just leave the room keys on the desk. It was terrible. Would never recommend this place.

Our room had exposed staples sticking out of the floor due to a missing board separating the carpet and tile. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice them and ended up stepping on them with bare feet while going to the bathroom—it was extremely painful! I reported the issue to the front desk and requested compensation, but they directed me to email the manager instead. I sent an email explaining the situation, but the manager never even acknowledged it. Very disappointing customer service.

HORRIBLE!!!!! WORST HOTEL EVER!!!!!! DO NOT GO THERE!!!!! Rude, noisy, dirty, all the bad you can think of it’s here at this hotel! They pretend they are a descent hotel BUT they are lie. The hotel does not look at ALL like the websites photos. There is paint off in te hallway the carpet is barely hanging on. They are remodeling and working while we are trying to sleep. THIS HOTEL SHOULD BE CLOSED!!!!!!

One of the worst hotels stays we have ever experienced. Property was not in good repair, not clean and lacking of staff. Front desk mostly not manned and believe the person you had to ring a bell for was the only person working. Very strong odors which I believe was Indian curry made me nauseous. Breakfast was poor and not sanitary. Not worth the $175. Would have been a better say at the Motel 6 for less than half the rate.
