Americas Best Value Inn & Suites St. Cloud

I had a highly disappointing stay at Americas Best Value Inn & Suites St. Cloud. The issues started with a room that had no functioning heat—the radiator only emitted cold air, and it was rusted, leaking, and had a large pool of water in it. This made the room musty and damp, likely due to the leak. The chairs were wet, sticky, and torn, and the walls were stained. One of the lamps had a short, and the fridge had not been cleaned—it still contained food from the previous guest. The ice maker was broken, and the key cards barely worked, needing to be fixed multiple times a day. The door often jammed, and the curtain rods were rusted. The room was also covered in dust and cobwebs. When I raised these concerns, the staff found it amusing and did not offer any resolutions or an alternative room. Additionally, I was told I would not be allowed to speak with management. This state of the room and the negligence of the hotel staff present a significant health and safety hazard, especially for guests with children. I have been in communication with the hotel's corporate customer care for nearly a month now, with constant promises of resolving this quickly. However, nothing has been done except for empty promises. This experience has been immensely frustrating, and I strongly advise others to avoid this hotel.

Worst customer service ever experienced, courtesy of Kelly, whom needs to get a new job that she actually enjoys. Terrible person to have to speak to and refuses to problem solve or help with anything, just filter through the fake accounts and read the actually reviews about Kelly specifically. Sad that she is so unhappy.

This was the scariest place we’ve ever stayed, in all our years of travel. My son was so scared that he was up the entire night. There was someone smoking crack right outside the side door and the inside smelled of drugs as well. There were stains on the walls, in the drawers, and mold all over the bathroom. We covered our pillows with beach towels that we brought and slept (very uncomfortably) on top of the blanket. Horrible place to stay! The pictures that are shown online are definitely NOT a reflection of the current state or condition of this motel!

We deliver RV’s around the country and always stay in economy motels to save money. We’ve had some winners and some looser’s. This was the cheapest of dozens of motels in Saint Cloud and upon driving up we were a little worried. The exterior needs some love but the interior exceeded our expectations. The owners have definitely done much remodeling and it shows. Both in the common space and our room. Of course there were minor issues but overall our room was clean, we felt safe and even though there’s a busy road right across the street, we could not here any noise from the traffic and our room faced the road. There was a continental breakfast as well…. If we’re ever in this area again we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

To start, this was one of the most broken places I've ever stayed with. I was there for 3 days and I wish I could have enjoyed it. One of the three desk clerks even cared I was there. I booked a smoking room and it had no ashtray. The curtains didn't close all the way, the hot tub they promised had no water, the door lock was loose, the bed was lumpy along with the pillows..I wouldn't have my dog stay there, although it might be perfect for him.
