We stayed 4 nights at KI&S. The first night was in an older room and was not satisfactory. Sunny was on duty at the front desk. When we brought this to Sunny's attention, she got right on it, moved us to a newer suite cheerfully and without hesitation. We were very impressed with her customer service ethic and positive attitude. We will be coming back next trip to Rochester.

Our stay was fantastic because Sunny made the experience AMAZING! We stayed due to a trip to Mayo Clinic (highly emotional health visit). Sunny made us feel welcomed, joked with us, and she shared a “city” book on Rochester, MN. Very pleasant!

I was concerned about the room when I first walked in because I’m uncomfortable when I look out the window and see another building right outside my window. I went back down to the front desk to ask for another room that wasn’t looking directly into another building. “Sunny” the amazing lady working the desk, was able to help me! How wonderful it was to be assisted so quickly, with understanding and compassion. Thank You “Sunny” You are amazing!

The hotel has been a staple for our family for years of wrestling tournaments. This year, an overzealous manager has ruined the experience for all families. She took photographs of children, yes, child wrestlers and adults, trying to prove they were all drinking. Some families were; many families were not. Instead of addressing it in a calm, cool manner, she made accusations and accused several people who were just eating pizza and drinking waters of causing chaos. She chased families away from the pool (these families did not have alcohol, bottles, glass or anything else) near the pool and back onto the floors. THe floors then became unbearably loud and people revolted being disrespectful. She was clearly not capable of managing the floor, and this hotel is no longer capable of managing the family fun atmosphere, claiming they had to comp rooms of innocent people who complained. As I sit going to bed, there are children running on the sixth floor and a party on the third floor, preventing people from enjoying their evening. She threatened the GM to come onsite with another group. It is uncomfortable as all get out for any person to be taking nonsolicited, photographs and causing children emotional harm and burden with a stranger taking their picture. THe lack of common sense by this team of management members should make you weary of staying at what used to be an affordable, family friendly environment. Kahler should be required to publish all photographs taken on a personal phone so families can request the child photographs to be removed. The manager should be fired.

I really enjoyed my check in with Sunny, she was very attentive and helpful! I loved my room it was spacious and cozy. I of course LOVE the SL access for my appointments. I’ve never enjoyed my stays at other hotels in the area because of how congested the road work can be thanks Kahler and Sunny for making these easier for us mayo folk.
