DoubleTree by Hilton Minneapolis Park Place

We came into town for a Saint Louis Cardinals ballgame and while we didn't win the game, we were not disappointed with our hotel. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. We drove so we brought our dog with us and it was a very dog friendly, clean, comfortable hotel. The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. Definitely would stay here again.

Visited the 3rd week of November for an event. As soon as I got to the room I started getting stuffed up and sneezing. I asked the front desk to move me, they put me on a list but never moved me. I ended sleeping with the window open and the HVAC off. I think the HVAC was the root cause. Thank goodness there's a Cub store across the street so I could pick up allergy pills and nasal spray. It had to be something in the room because outside I was just fine. After checking out and going to The Marquette, I was back to normal.

This was a wonderful experience! The event planner we were in communication with, Kimberly, was quick and efficient and always happy to be of help in any way she could. We had a lot of things going on and changes as we went along and she met and exceeded each one. Dorothea was extremely helpful too emphasizing that anything we needed we need only to use the hotel phone and they would be right there and they were!! At first the room was a bit warm and within minutes of contacting the hotel they adjusted it for us and it was perfect from that time forward. Room service was always fast and service with a smile. The hotel staff, including Cassandra and Kodre' (sp) were very personable and remembered your name indicating that you are more than just someone staying at the hotel, and they were eager to help in any way that they could. We had over 100 people attend our conference and everyone was satisfied and happy with their stay. Thank you Kimberly! Thank you Dorothea, Cassandra and Kodre' as well, including all those that we didn't catch their name. Double Tree in St. Louis Park in MN is a place we would definitely stay again! Large hotel conveniently located on the outside of Minneapolis. I was visiting family that lives in downtown Minneapolis, the location was outstanding, it only took 5 to 10 minutes to drive into the city. The hotel was nice and quiet. The rooms are a bit dated, however very comfortable.

Sheets were not changed each day, disappointing. Paid coffee machine in lobby store had many offerings (cappuccino, latte, steamed milk, regular milk, etc.) but none worked except the plain black coffee selection. Wouldn't take much to repair or refill whatever the problem with it was. After I selected several buttons & nothing worked, nice woman working at front desk explained that only black coffee button worked.
