I selected this hotel specifically because the website featured a whirlpool room with a fireplace, which strongly appealed to me. However, my phone and email reservations did not indicate this wasn't the room I was getting. While the room did have a whirlpool, it lacked the fireplace and was less updated than the image I had seen. When we arrived in the room there was an industrial-sized air purifier running. An employee entered the room, without knocking, to remove the purifier, unaware we had already arrived. There was a strange odor and though we couldn't identify it, she let us keep the purifier running in the room. We were discouraged about the feel and smell of the room, but also pressed for time due to an evening event so we quickly got ready, turning off the air purifier before leaving for the event. Upon our return, a marijuana odor mixed with the scent of floral candles, was evident. It was clear hotel staff was attempting to mask the previous occupants' odors. There was also a sticky substance on the side of the jacuzzi, grossing us out and killing the mood, so ultimately we didn't use it. The room itself needs updating. The dimmer switch above the jacuzzi flickered intermittently, posing a potential fire hazard. The bathroom faucet was mislabeled, with hot and cold water reversed. The bathroom door wasn't hung properly. These issues show a lack of attention to detail. We paid $241.68 for a room that was both unpleasant and unhygienic. When we checked out, we informed the staff about the odor and the sticky substance in the jacuzzi. Their dismissive response was simply, "We're working on it," acknowledging their awareness of the room's issues. This room should not have been available for guests. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel to others. Following our stay, I submitted feedback through their survey but received no response, further demonstrating a lack of care.

I have been to places in Twin Cities and around the country that a t are more expensive and not nearly as nice. I highly recommend this hotel. The room was excellent and had a view which is rare with hotels in this price range. The room was spotless and smelled clean without chemical smell of some places. Overall a great experience.

The hotel is beautiful, the moment you walk through the doors, someone is right there to greet you and help you. The staff are amazing and truly make the effort to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are the cleanest and I mean the cleanest Iāve seen anywhere. The homey vibe in my room made me feel so comfortable. They have a lifetime customer! I will refer anyone to this hotel as well as the one in Fridley. The breakfast every morning is impeccable. They whole experience, I canāt even describe. Itās just been an amazing stay and just to add, the beds and pillows. Oh my, they are so comfortable. If you are looking for a place to stay, that is great on your bank account, that is amazing. Look no more.
