Quality Inn Bemidji

We were looking for a place to sleep on our 2,500+ mile road trip to see the headwaters of the Mississippi River at Lake Itasca. This was a perfect place to stop. This hotel appears to have been recently remodeled. Don't let the old building next door scare you off. Laminate floors. Breakfast was OK. Our room was clean and well-equipped. The staff was friendly and helpful. We got in late, so we didn't use the pool or other facilities. This was a good value for the price.

Natiest place I’ve ever sleep at for a price of $200!!!! Dirty floor like it has not been sweep yet, crockroaches everywhere!!!!!! I happened to move the little device by the tv and the desk was nasty, like they never clean under that mini device! Pool was not opened as advertised online, my kids was waiting for that all day. False advertisement!!!! Wifi was slow, cant get youtube to work on the kids Tablets. Never again, for this price Im sure somewhere else can offer us a cleaner place. I called the front desk and told them about the crockroaches and they didnt offer anything and no room to change. Please dont book with this hotel.

I was duped by Priceline. We had made reservations based on the photos online. When we arrived at our destination, we were concerned for our safety. You have to drive past a deserted hotel to get to the Quality Inn. When we arrived there, we saw a pile of debris outside the windows. I tried calling the Inn 3 different times to cancel our reservation with no answer. Do not make a reservation with this hotel. They are not ready for guests!

Smelly, rundown, unsecured (no locking security doors), garbage and flies, pool and hot tub "out of service until further notice" (same as two years ago when we were here), overgrown grass on property, fires exit under construction and blocked, general unkempt and dirty appearance, large construction boxes in unsecured areas. We were told there was no manager on duty to address our concerns and that a manager could not be contacted. Choice Hotels customer service was no help at all.

Do NOT stay here!!! The rooms are terrible and not worth the $200 they charge. Beds were lumpy, tub was stained, and not a secure hotel. The area it is located in is very sketchy. I made reservations through Choice hotels on-line so I was stuck here. I was not informed that there was construction going on!
