Motel 6 Warren MI Detroit East

If we could give a 0 rating we would! It says kids stay 4 free, that wasn't true on our stay....we not only paid for 2 rooms so they could be w us the night before their dad can and got them but when they left w their dad we were falsely accused that their dad never left and that the kids were there the whole time! They say pets are free but they bitched at us about having ours there. We also experienced cops showing up there constantly for other people there, gun violence. Illegal immigrants living out back!! They sleep w their doors open w several in each room crammed like sardines! When the toilet flooded we asked the neighbor 2 please go get help from the front desk, when they did, they told them 2 "let those petty bi***es 2 come down here n get help ourselves" which were mike and sommer whom said that and their management and owner fadi was perfectly fine w them talking 2 us like this and called us liars saying it never happened. Wonder if the cameras even work there 🤔. They constantly threaten calling the cops on everyone who demands respect. The places is a mess, don't take ur children there they will be scarred for life and ull waste ur money on drama and disrespect! They don't clean their rooms hardly but expect u 2 treat it like a 4 star motel. Its disgusting! And so is how its ran. Rant over!

When I went to check in the agent told me that I would need to leave a 25 dollar cash deposit as they don't accept credit card deposits. I told her I didn't have 25 dollars as I don't usually carry cash as it is 2022 and pretty much everyone pays with credit card. She called the Manager and he was ok not leaving the cash deposit because I was assigned one of the 'older' rooms. At that point I said, well i'm not really liking being assigned an 'older' room because that probably means dirty and gross. She said no, it was clean just had older furnishings. So I reluctantly accepted this and went to the room. Well to no shock, it was well not just old, but pretty gross. Flies and insects flying all over especially in the bathroom and there was a dead insect on the bed. The room smelled a mix of cleaning solution and stale smoke. I checked the mattress and boxspring and although now bed bugs I could see, they were very dirty and definitely signs of previous infestations. The bathroom had holes in the walls and god knows what lurked inside. So I went to the front desk and they switched my room after I complained. It was slightly better and I guess a refreshed room but still in an overall bad state. The Staff were nice enough.. I have come to expect little from the Motel 6 brand as a whole and this motel basically reflects the company - a motel brand that is only slightly cheaper than other budget options, but with a consistently poor number of dated properties that are falling apart and dirty, more so than the others. This experience and another with the brand just turned me off it completely. Their Customer Service is poor. The staff are generally friendly, but there is little they can do because they don't get the support of Management to provide a good Customer Service experience. Motel 6 brand needs new leadership at the top - its as dated as its properties.

HAS ROACHES. I have been going here for 3 years. I stopped when I got my place but i booked a room for Valentine's day and before bed 3 hours into my stay roaches were on the wall and by the bed. I packed and left. I spoke with front desk before leaving. I was told I would have to wait until morning but I had to leave, cannot bring roaches back to my house. NO REFUND WAS GIVEN. CHRIS THE MANAGER TOLD ME THEY HAVE A BAD PROBLEM WITH ROACHES FOR THE PAST 3 MONTHS. DO NOT STAY HERE!! NICR HEADS UP ABOUT THE ROACHES WOULD BE NICE BEFORE I SPENT $51 THERE!!

Stayed a week for work. Nice people, pet friendly at no extra cost, clean room. Just missing a comfy chair. My only complaint was that I worked nightshift and the cleaning crew had the LOUDEST Cart which they pushed past my room several times a day.....Very Hard to sleep.

we were there 11 days and they didn't clean our room once. We brought our small harmless dog and they wouldn't clean room if we weren't there. so one day we stayed in room and asked cleaner who was a few doors down if she could clean our room in the next while since we wanted to go out. we said we would walk the dog. she said I'll get to it at end of day. we complained to management and also complained about broken air conditioner that we had to play around for 20 minutes each time we used it. place was filthy and expensive for what you get. the police were there 2 times for fights and partying next door to us in the middle of the night
