Comfort Inn Utica

This Comfort Inn/Utica is my home away from home!! When I come to visit family, I keep returning to this business because the staff is so accommodating to my various needs. From the front desk to those maintaining the property, I experience hospitality, efficiency & cleanliness. I will continue to return.

So-so. The main issue we had was the poor lighting in the bathroom. I literally had to put on my makeup in front of the window utilizing the natural light. Overall the room appeared to be pretty clean. It was hard to tell if the bathroom was properly cleaned because of the poor lighting. The breakfast was acceptable for my husband and myself- we like our coffee and enjoyed bananas and yogurt. There were enough offerings for most people. The breakfast area was quite small- I think it was a temporary setup while they’re remodeling. Would we go back again? Doubtful.

Don't expect a whole lot, and as the saying goes you get what you pay for. The hotel is presently being remodeled AND IT NEEDS IT. The room was clean, small (but had two queen size beds), outdated, a LOUD wall air conditioner, and very poor lighting in the bathroom. Don't expect too much variety at the free breakfast either, as they offered a free Jimmy Dean egg & sausage biscuit, dry cereal, bagel or toast, O.J., coffee, water, yogurt, and the world worst pop-tarts ever created. We were glad we only needed to stay for a bed and shower, as we were gone 99% of the day. If we need to come back to this area we will stay elsewhere.

I did not think this would be a great day. Boy, was I wrong! The staff was outstanding, the room was very clean and sanitized, great little breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel because of the hospitality and cleanliness. Everyone went above and beyond!

This hotel is a dump! Avoid it at all costs. The price might be right, but it's not worth it! We booked through Priceline (which I will never do again) and could not get my money back so we HAD to stay here for 5 l-o-n-g nights. It's dirty, there is no lighting in the room and most definitely none in the bathroom, the a/c unit was stuck at 75, the refrigerator was stuck at freezing and a can of pop blew up in the fridge, the coffee pot and iron were missing from the room, housekeeping "forgot" to clean our room one day, housekeeping never cleaned the toilet and there was a big ring around it, the outside of the hotel had cigarette butts all over the front entrance, shall I go on???? The whole place should be totally renovated! I hated it and will NEVER stay in this dump again!!!
