Stayed for 2 nights while visiting nearby family. Staff was very friendly and room was clean. Stayed in a one-room suite and it was perfect. We used the sauna, tub and pool to unwind after a long day with family. I will stay here again. I was sad that the bar and restaurant were temporarily closed during the break between snowmobile and summer hiking seasons.

This Hotel needs more of a variety of food for breakfast when we were there they served scrambled eggs and sausage three days in a row they did have cereal and breads for toast and the usual breakfast stuff other things no Cell Service but there are phones in the rooms and two nights in a row People were blasting their music in the parking lot till midnight plus bath tub was really slippery employees were nice one more thing more night stands in room plus a recliner or a chair with a foot stool and the room was nice staff was ok

FIVE STAR SERVICE! Jody, the GM, went above and beyond to make certain our unexpected business trip was accommodated over our extended two week stay! The hotel itself is wonderful, meticulously maintained by the cheerful staff. Everything from the breakfast room usually monitored by Nancy to the dining room with Krystal and Tiffany to the bar with Joe and Mary Ann is neat, clean, and specifically caters to traveler's and tourist's needs. Dining was excellent and affordable. The bar featured daily specials and had a welcoming atmosphere perfect for an evening's end. Hot tub, beautiful large swimming pool, and cedar sauna all on site to top off guest's stay! YES, even traveling on business we couldn't resist those perks to relax at night! We also saw other guests enjoying the fabulous Lake Superior shoreline location nightly, complete with sand beach, benches, fire pits, and an adjacent park with bbq grills. Did I mention the rooms were immaculate, comfortable, very roomy? This property is an absolute gem. As business travelers, it ranks in the absolute top 1% nationwide.

If you are looking to relax, this is the place. My husband and I really enjoyed staying here. We stayed 5 days and loved every minute. So many fun places to go and walks along the Superior. We will definitely be back.
