Days Inn by Wyndham Mackinaw City Lakeview

We had a pet and they were very accommodating last minute. Clean rooms and quiet. Friendly staff. Smoking area right outside our door. Close to downtown. Was closed to ice machine and pet area. Overall experience was great and would recommend to anyone with children or pets.

The general lack of hotel maintenance, the cleanliness of the room was completely unacceptable . Wall paper peeling off most every wall, large dark spot next to the toilet. Grout was extremely dirty Wood trim in bathroom only had the primer coat on it Night stand dried food on it Door to the room didn’t seal properly Aluminum trim outside was badly dented Inside of the door was badly scuffed by back shoes or boots Parking is problematic I could go on…. Carpets were nasty, bed had springs poking us all night long, paper was peeling off the walls. Expensive over $250 a night for lack of quality. No elevator to the second floor. Hard to move stuff up with a broken foot. We didn’t bother to stay any longer than necessary.

This place is so cheap that they don’t even have sheets. Just drape a blanket over the bare mattress and call it good. If you’re looking for filth, you’ve found your place. I wasn’t going to nitpick the other gross areas, but I can’t excuse the nasty mattress. It was late by the time we noticed, and they didn’t even have anyone in the lobby. Had to go to another hotel and he was rude. “Why didn’t you notice that there wasn’t a sheet when you got in?” Because we dropped out stuff off and left from our next activity. As he hands us blankets with an attitude.

Beautiful view Outstanding service close to all the shops. Great staff, We definitely stay here again and recommend all my family and friends to also stay here. Real easy to find off of the highway. Price was very affordable. We had a great experience. Thank you all
