We called to make a reservation while heading to Lansing, Gail answered and it was a streamlined process. We arrived to a nice double queen room. Our Aussiedoodle was welcomed with his own goodies bag. The room was very clean. Everything worked, fridge, tv, a/c, microwave. We headed to spend the evening at Horrocks. Upon our return we went to the pool and hot tub. I swam my laps while my wife soaked in hot tub. Clean aquatic area with plenty of clean towels. Great night sleeping. Woke proceeded to the breakfast pantry. Hot sausages, red potatoes, cheese omelets, waffles, oatmeal, cereal, muffins, bagels, bread. Coffee, orange juice, kiwi, tea. Clean organized pantry. Would definitely recommend this property. Easy off the highway. Thanks for a great experience.

This is my 3rd stay at this hotel and unfortunately it is slowly slipping. It's still a good choice for the area but overall, it needs some attention to detail. None of these things are deal breakers but shows a lack of keeping to the Hilton standard. They missed cleaning my room one day and then cleaned it when it wasn't requested the other, the bathroom door hit a high point in the floor whenever it was opened forcing pressure and a loud scrapping noise--sorry to the people below. Often the front desk was unmanned. The morning breakfast buffet was tired and not inspiring. And our room door is in need of some oil to solve the load squeak.

This has nothing to do with the hotel facilities but rather a statement on the hotel management. Let me preface my comments that I understand it was my mistake and sometimes you have to own up to them but... I booked an online reservation Sun. July 14 and did not change the default date of that same day (7/14), I wanted a room on Fri. July 19. On Mon. July 15 I noticed an email from my charge card company stating I was billed by Hilton, wondered why and then discovered my error. I immediately contacted the hotel direct and they stated I needed to contact Corporate because the processed the billing, Corporate opened a ticket for resolution. in the meantime I called back to the hotel and asked for a Supervisor to discuss. Keep in mind, room was reserved same day, there were plenty of rooms, so really no loss on the hotel's part, asked for a credit to my original need of Fri. July 19 if I booked a new reservation, they would not budge and a refund was out of the question. Contacted Corporate Customer Service again, asked for a Supervisor, mentioned I have been a Hilton member for decades, still no consideration. If this is the way this Hilton's hotel management and Hilton Corporate treats long time member's then they have just lost one.

Stayed in April 2024 and May 2024 with help from Gail and other front counter staff. This location was handy for us to visit with family, the room was clean, tidy and sanitized very well. The housekeeping staff and maintenance were handy when a couple of small things were needed (new towels, tightening of swimming pool ladder and fixing stuck quarters in the guest laundry dryer). They were fast and efficient to meet anything that was needed. Right across the street is a store called "Horrocks" that has everything you might need in the way of food, entertainment and sweets. Restaurants like Cheddars, Texas Roadhouse, The Tangy Crab and many more including fast food are very handy. Easy access to the highways from this hotel and fuel stations, stores for shopping and banks are within a mile or more too! Gail is amazing and the other front counter staff are very helpful. There is small indoor store in the hotel but Horrocks is the place to go for other items. Access to downtown Lansing and other local attractions makes this a great place to stay. Don't overlook this location because it is great for business people, groups and families. The hot tub and pool are good amenities along with the fitness room.
