Causeway Bay Hotel

Disgusting. Do not stay here. Used adult toys were left in the room, the bed was made, but under the comforter was lots of hair, as if nobody cleaned the sheets. Cigarette burns were simply patched over on the comforter with fabric and glue. The shower had soap scum left in it. Horrible experience. This place should be condemned by the health department. I will be giving them a call.

Put on hold for 25 minutes, we actually drove there and asked if she was going to answer it. The sheets were never changed from previous loaders. We had to ask for clean sheets. So much dirt on bedding, and cooking smells throughout the floor level.

This place was awful!!!! Ice Machine broke, microwave broke, no convenience store , they did not clean my room. No cable TV or streaming. It was the worse hotel experience of my life. I would not recommend this place to a dog!

Imagine getting pulled off stage at your brother’s Wedding ceremony of 400+ people from all over the world, and being told that the cops and fire department were called and were going to escort everybody out… for an extremely small + contained grain fire, approved by the venue staff as part of the ceremony, and that was put out within 15 minutes. Then, after being called off stage, you had to try to reason with the most creepy, disgusting, dishonest people you’ve ever met. Neither of these two staff members, a “man” and a woman, could even make eye contact with us, and escalated the situation immediately. Firemen came into the reception room with full gear on, and you could tell they were so embarrassed to have disrupted such a beautiful ceremony for nothing and turned right around. The cops never even came in, as they realized what a joke the Causeway Bay staff and ownership were. SHAME on Causeway Bay to make first responders waste their precious time on your hatefulness and ignorance. I would NEVER recommend anybody touch this place with a 1000 foot pole. I was told we picked it because of the seating capacity — FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE! Greeted with a broken window at the front and grass coming up through the parking lot, it only got worse from there. Paint chips all over the walls, bathroom sinks rusted + completely falling apart, chandeliers randomly turning off, no sign for the woman’s bathroom… the whole thing was a mistake. Thankfully, the bride’s Father had great connections that helped us secure a new venue same-day, but I don’t think this could be the case for everyone. Oh, and nobody was able to speak to the Owner of the hotel, as he was some ominous super villain who didn’t give out his phone number + was out of the country… give me a break. This was the most poorly handled power trip I’ve ever experienced, and I hope this place gets bulldozed within the next 6 months. Stay away from Causeway Bay and the trolls that run the place at all costs! Check out their 1.5 star rating on Yelp for real reviews by REAL people! Pictures are way outdated too, probably from 7-8+ years ago — RUN!!

The management was shockingly hostile and nasty once our group arrived, disrupting our joyful celebration. Every attempt at a reasonable conversation was like slamming your head against a brick wall: please DO NOT give these bridge trolls your business and put yourself at risk of having a miserable experience.
