Hampton Inn & Suites Dundee

Allow me to state that I spent 2 nights at the #1 hotel in Dundee to transfer to this hotel. The experience was a night and day difference. Front desk staff at check-in was amazing. The gentleman was friendly and very accommodating. The room was large and clean. The room smelled fresh. The carpets were clean. The bedding was clean and the TV worked. The bed was amazingly comfortable. I was comfortable. The room was equipped with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. This is actually the best hotel in Dundee. The breakfast offerings were good; two types of waffles, egg frittatas, oatmeal, cereal, muffins, citrus peach juice.

Another disappointing Hampton Inn stay…...We have previously stayed at the Hampton Inn, Dundee, MI. This visit did not match the satisfaction of previous visits. The service was terrible. We went 3 days without cleaning service, even after speaking with cleaning staff in the hallway asking them to be sure to clean our room and stopping at the desk requesting maid service two consecutive mornings. (No, the “do not disturb” tag was not on the room door after we left the room.). What is happening to Hampton Inn quality control????? Need to consider if we will stay Hilton-first travelers or switch to Marriott loyalists.

After a bad experience with the hotel we were supposed to be staying in, we were looking for a last-minute solution and thankfully the Hampton was right there! Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, room was spotless (This building seems very new and it shows). Housekeeping comes every other day which is so much better than having to request it like some places. Breakfast was great, will stay here again for sure if I'm in the area.

What an amazing stay! The hotel was beautiful and the area was very pleasant. Staff was exceptionally amazing, especially James and Jordan! They know what it means to be kind and hospitable. Breakfast was great and lots of places to eat nearby. We will definitely return!
