MGM Grand Detroit

Great hotel for business - friendly staff. Easy check-in and check-out. Perfect stay - nice sports bar with incredible friendly waitress. The room was spacious - slightly bigger than expected. Perfect service during my stay - nothing to complain.

The room was spotless and bed was AMAZING! Elevators were all out of commission except one. Had to wait about 30 mins to get to our room, waiting in line for one elevator. Should have been told or compensated someway. Overall it was a great Evening. We would probably stay there again Elevator issue would never happen again. I cannot say enough about how comfortable the bed was We slept like Babies

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this Mgm property. The staff was so laid-back yet still professional making the environment so welcoming and homey. The casino was well maintained. My hotel room was very cozy with all necessary amenities for me to enjoy my two nights stay. I loved the grounds and interior even the private lounge area for hotel guest made me happy each time I was coming and going through the hotel. I was also usually greeted by security, Patricia Ford, and she was so polite. She kept a smile on my face every time I saw her. I will definitely be returning to Detroit as soon as possible!

She turned what could’ve been a complicated situation into something smooth and stress-free—all with a smile. On behalf of our organization, the Horatio Williams Foundation, we truly appreciate her support as we brought in coaches from all across the country to serve as panelists. Joanelle’s ability to help our logistics run effortlessly was unparalleled and didn’t go unnoticed. Too often, we speak up only to make complaints. I will freely admit that our room was beautiful. However, we paid extra for a top floor room with a large soaker tub. The drain was broken and couldn't be used. I am in poor health and there are times when a hot tub is the only thing that will relieve my pain. The air purification system was also broken. They never showed up to repair it after our call and only compensated our $30 breakfast.
