The Tru by Hilton Comstock Park Grand Rapids is a great option for business travelers seeking a clean, comfortable, and efficient hotel experience. The public areas were well-maintained, and my room was spotless. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful layout of the room, which made the most of the space. The amenities provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including a Smart TV, a well-lit work area, and a refrigerator. The bathroom was stocked with essential toiletries, and I appreciated the addition of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value and a dependable experience. I highly recommend it for anyone traveling to the Grand Rapids area.

First time at Tru Hilton! Would definitely stay again. Rooms were updated, clean, quiet and had everything you’d need for a night stay. The beds were very comfortable! Complimentary breakfast was one of the nicest ones. Plenty of seating and delicious fresh food. Gentleman at front desk could have been friendlier.

We really enjoyed this hotel! I was traveling with my boys (ages 13 & 11) and we only stayed for 1 night, but I would totally stay here again. I use the Hilton Honors app for room keys and everything worked great. Parking was readily available and free. Room was clean with good storage options. Bed was comfortable and I love when hotels give you soft and firm pillow options. Bathroom was big and everything was clean. Pool was warm although a hot tub would have been nice. Front staff were super friendly and we enjoyed the games in the lobby. There's a family fun center with mini golf and go-karts pretty much right across the street which was nice. Only a couple things would have made this 5 stars: a microwave in the room, coffee maker in the room, and some more options (particularly for protein) at breakfast.

The hotel room itself was satisfactory. The manager and room clerk were not. I arrived at 2:07 pm. They stated and would not waive a 25$ upcharge because I was checking in before 2:30pm. They were quite aggressive and insistent. I am a Hilton Honors member and was there for a wedding. I found later others attending the wedding had the 25$ upcharge waived. This created a very bad opinion for me about the facility. Strangely, the next day, I saw that the upcharge was not included on my final bill. The breakfast bar is not well tended. Each time I went to get a cup of coffee, the post was empty and I had to request that it be filled. This hotel does not have a coffee pot in the room. The pancake machine had a sign reading, "We are waiting on an order of pancakes. Machine temporarily unavailable." When I went to get a banana, it was not in the fruit bowl. I had to request it. There were fixtures and wires for TVs in the breakfast area. No TVs were installed even though the hotel has been there for some period of time. Are all tru hotels managed this poorly?

We are Diamond members and like to stay in Hilton properties. We were in this Tru hotel from 7/26-7/30. The employees were friendly and hardworking. Only one not-pleasant person Was the morning worker at the hospitality desk. The girl was texting all the time, watching videos in her earphones, and the whole day the same .If someone needed help she almost did a favor to interact, but still continue texting. This working ethic wasn’t acceptable and management should do something about it,
