Went to visit family in East Leroy, Michigan. Strictly just wanted a place to sleep. The room was clean. I did not have children with me, but the playground and the pool was fabulous if you were on the first floor, the door opened onto the area, where the playground was. It was a great set up for families with children.

The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. The workers seem to care that you get to your room quickly and it is ready for you. My room is quiet throughout the night and they actually have real drapes that keep the light from entering into your room.

The rooms were pretty basic, could definitely use some updating the walls look like they were covered with contact paper and the bathroom floors were less than clean. However the beds were reasonably comfortable the price wasn't horrible, maybe a little high for the accommodations, but we've stayed at worse unfortunately.

Nice hotel, a little outdated, but clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent work out room with tread mills, free weights and machines. Also a real nice pool with towels. Nilsa at the front desk is terrific- friendly, patient and helpful. I often stay there.

If I could give this hotel ZERO stars I would because it does NOT even deserve one star. The customer service was HORRENDOUS! We just stayed there this past week and we couldn't even check in without some kind of harassment from the so called manager of the front desk. So when we booked the room we went ahead and paid through Booking. Plans changed like is normal in life and I had to call and change the date. So I called and changed the date and then checked on the change not one but 3 times. Not one time when I called to check on the reservation did they tell me that there was going to be a problem checking in because the virtual card that they use from Booking to get the money for the stay would not work. When we got there to check in and I walked up to the desk the manager said that she can not check me in because she can not access the card to get the money from Booking. I looked at her like that is my problem because? She made me call Booking because she said that she didn't have a number to call them which I knew was a lie. The next thing I knew she was on the phone talking to Booking before I was after I had already been on hold for Booking for almost 30 minutes. While we were waiting on her to get the problem fixed we sat out in the parking lot which they rent out to truckers to park and there are a lot of nefarious things going on with what looked like drug deals or lot lizards going up to the trucks, which did not make us feel safe at all. Then it took another 30 minutes for them to "fix" the problem. At this time she told me that I should have booked straight through them instead of Booking, and I was in the wrong for booking my stay with Booking instead of them. Like I don't have a choice as to where I make my reservation. Also she kept saying that the other front desk person should not have changed the date which again is not my problem. So we finally get checked in and went on with our evening. The only other problem that we had that evening was when we were in the pool they did not want to turn the lights on in the pool area and we were swimming in the dark and when we were just about ready to get out they finally turned the lights on. Get up the next morning and there was not enough towels in the room nor was there a shower curtain. So when we took showers the water was going all over the floor. I went to the front desk ans asked for more towels and a shower curtain. I got the towels but the front desk worker said that he has no clue where a shower curtain is. I had to go back to the front desk later that evening and low and behold they found a shower curtain which I must add I had to put up myself. The breakfast room was not clean not attended to at all of the morning. So as you can see this place is a sinking ship. The whole time we were there which was 2 days we were basically the only people staying there. This place is apparently a sinking ship so they're trying to rip off every guest so they won't go out of business. (Seems like a bad strategy to me.)
