Residence Inn by Marriott Ann Arbor North

The bed at least comfortable and there is full kitchen. However service was lacking. We asked in the app for extra pillows etc the day before we arrived and nothing was there. They rectified but required us to call a few times before anyone picked up. Their shower water pressure in our room was almost non existence. Our shower was kind of miserable as water was a like a light trickle. We were in room 219. We got in at 11pm and leaving the next day. The coffee maker inside the water part was dirty. I had to clean it first to use. Overall sloppy hotel stay. Do not recommend.

We stayed here for two nights in May 2024. This hotel was a little tricky to find as we made a turn into where we thought the entrance might be and basically drove through parking lots to find it. Helpful hint - take the actual entrance from Green Road and it won't be a problem. This hotel has easy walking access to a grocery store and a few small restaurants and is within a couple minutes drive from most anything you might want. This is a great location to stay in if you are visiting the North Campus for U of M. We had a room on the top floor with a kitchen and living room area, then a door that you could close to the bedroom/bathroom area. The room was clean and everything worked fine in the room. Breakfast in the lobby had many choices! The only downside to this hotel that we experienced was that this hotel allows pets and we had a dog barking/crying across the hall from us for over and hour one evening. We did alert the front desk and the only thing they would do was to call the room, which wasn't helpful as the owner had left.

This was an ideal place to stay. Manager Richard Porco and his entire staff went over and beyond to accommodate - or better! - every request, giving me a pretty view, a quiet room, and just the right amount of housekeeping service. Not only was every staff member friendly and helpful, the well-maintained property is situated in a beautiful nature preserve. Online photos aren't as pretty as it actually is. Within short driving distance from the UM campus, and easy walking distance from a bus drop (although I did not try that). I would certainly stay here again. I don't know all of the desk staff's names but Keshawn was particularly helpful in getting my reservation modified when I needed to do that. Thank you!

Stayed at this hotel during a long term medical treatment. The entire staff is welcoming and attentive. The rooms and facility are meticulously clean and well appointed. Hotel features are designed to make you comfortable while you are away from home. Richard Porco is an excellent manager with a well trained staff. I cannot say enough good things about our stay here.
