Hampton Inn & Suites Adrian

The room was disgusting! Ants everywhere! The shower was full of mold and rot! The pool has been closed for well over a month and is disgusting to see. Cloudy water with debris. I was upgraded to a suite only to find an “alien” in the gross bar sink (it wouldn’t drain) The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows so soft you ended up with your head on the mattress, sunk in the pillow. I stayed a few days in August as well. The only reason I came back is our honors points and availability, that room wasn’t as bad.

The staff was very friendly but did not look very professional. The room was not as clean as I was expecting,especially since the hotel is not very old. Our shower could have been cleaner. The beds were ok, but creaky. The sheets were stiff and the pillows were worn. The breakfast was not as good or fresh as most of the other Hampton Inns we have stayed at.

Rooms dirty. Staff rude and GM uncooperative. They lost my credit card info and the guests I was paying for had to pay. Whole property unimpressive. You can find better. Gm was confrontational and didn't even listen to you when you tried to reason with him.

The staff is very friendly and I was impressed with their kindness. The room needed a good, deep cleaning. The floors were clearly dirty and the shower had quite a bit of mold with a weird smell. Breakfast was very mediocre, some items were not very hot. If the rooms were more clean, I’d feel better about staying here. I noticed the dirty tiles upon entering the room.

We traveled to Adrian for a family event. This hotel was booked in advance with the intention of using the pool. At check-in, we were told that the pool was closed. When asking for a partial refund due to this change, we were told no. We were told that we could go to a different hotel but that the pool being closed did not warrant a discount. While I do not want or expect a full refund or a huge discount, but the pool was a significant factor when booking. This was a huge inconvenience and put a damper on our plans. As a Hilton Member & frequent guest, am highly disappointed in this Hilton establishment and their inability to “make it right.”
