I wish I could give two separate scores, one if you have mobility issues and one if you do not. If you do not have mobility problems, I would give it a 5. If you do, I would give it a 3, hence my 4 rating. I walk with a cane after a knee injury. I have stayed here many times before my injury. I booked a queen accessible room with a roll in shower and confirmed it prior to my arrival. When I checked in I had already walked a bit from the parking lot, through the downstairs and up the first elevator. I told the man at the desk that I needed a room close to the lobby as walking can become painful. He told me my room was not a long walk, and then sent me down a long hallway to a different elevator and then up to the 2nd floor and down a few rooms. When I got in I saw the room had a jacuzzi tub. I called the desk and said this was not the room I booked. He said they had a room with a shower a few doors down. He came up to give me new keys. Later I realized the new room's shower had an edge and was not a roll in. I had to use my cane to get into the shower. I should have asked for a new room. My mistake. And this room was so far from the lobby and parking lot that I was in pain every time I went the restaurant or outside. When I checked out another guest offered to help me to my car saying, "I can tell you are in pain." The woman at the desk was on the phone and just waved her hand to get my keys! On the plus side, the place is spotless. The housekeeping staff is great. I love the new restaurant. The wait staff is lovely. I wish afternoon tea had an extra sweet, like maybe lemon bars or brownies, but the tea and coffee are very good. The location in Freeport cannot be beat. All in all, if I can recover from this injury I will be back. If not , I am not sure and that saddens me because I have stayed here so many times and had such positive experiences before this one.

The place has new management so for those regular customers the fireplace it's fake now they got rid of them (sad), continental breakfast it's now all carbs (no meat) abd the new restaurant has a bar but closes at 9pm! So no more tavern bar (sad). The extra perks it's what made the Inn unique from others and what always made us come back to.

My family and I have been regular visitors at the Harraseeket for the past 16 years, and despite the new owner changes, it remains a wonderful hotel. The beds are comfy, the staff is lovely, and the new Porter Kitchen & Bar Restaurant is very pretty with delicious food. We were sad to find out that the broad arrow tavern closed as well as the breakfast buffet, but the continental breakfast is still far better than typical continental breakfasts and there is also an a la carte menu where you can order hot breakfast foods. Afternoon tea remains the same as well which is also very nice. Overall, the hotel has not changed as much as people think and I encourage everyone to stay here!

I can only give this place 3 stars as of now. Our last stay here was prior to COVID and we would give it 5 stars. We found that the room was nosy due to the heating system and them you could also hear the heat come on in the other rooms, this made it a little hard to relax. While reviewing my bill I notice a charge for Facility Fee of 25.00$ I called and inquired about this and was told that this was for parking, the WIFI, also for the complementary tea. I told the person I spoke too that I have never heard of a parking and WIFI charge first of all, and how would they know if I drove and used the parking area and if I used the WIFI. I also explained that when we arrived the clerk told us that the complementary tea time was just starting. If I had known, we would be charged for the tea we would probably not attended. (We did leave a nice tip for the server) Our main reason for choosing this place again was for the pub that was once there, we were very sorry to see that they closed it down. The other restaurant that was open was just ok and had a small menu. We enjoy visiting the area and will be going back in the next year, but I feel we will be looking for another place to stay.

It is a very nice facility, the rooms are roomy with good beds, the restaurant is excellant and the staff is helpful and friendly but our room was very noisy. Mechanical noises from plumbing, heating, other unrecognizable sources were very loud. The inn was fully booked so no chance of getting another room. Sleep was almost impossible. We will never go back.
