Tru by Hilton Ocean City Bayside

I had a wonderful time at the Tru bayside. It was my first time staying there and it exceeded my expectations. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Not to mention the adorable lizard in the lobby. The indoor pool was a great perk as well! In ocmd some hotels overcharge for what you get and this hotel was not only affordable it was clean and modern! I will for sure be coming back

Everything was almost great. However, breakfast was the same every day and just bland. Coffee was Luke warm and the rooms had no microwave, no coffee maker and no dressers to out clothes in. The staff were exceptional and very accommodating and we had clean towels every day. Check in and out was easy and quick. I was not displeased but I know you can do better Hilton

if anyone is thinking of traveling to ocean city md tru by hilton the manager was really not professional and very rude after a 4 minute conversation the day after we came home charged 700 to my credit card for a tv that we didn’t even damage also talked with corporate and nothing was done. such bad customer service clearly there is differences in the two tv there was no strap and the tv in our room had only two screws

The three of us stayed only for one night at the hotel on a visit to Ocean City. The hotel is quite comfortable and our room (505) was bright and functional with good beds and a wooden floor. The best part was the view over the bay westward, which gave us a gorgeous sunset scene. (It is worth noting that this would not have been available from a lower floor because of buildings in between the hotel and the shore.) The hotel grounds are quite funky in style and there's fussball and shuffleboard tables. There's also an indoors swimming pool, which was quite nice with large windows and comfortable chairs both inside and outside on a deck. Breakfast was decent and good coffee available at any time. There were a couple of EV charging stations in the parking lot, which guests could use at a (bit steep) cost ($10). The hotel is not located close to the boardwalk where the action is. This suited us just fine as there still are a number of restaurants within a walking distance.

The hotel was nice, and the staff were friendly. The AC worked great! They accept pets which is a plus and offer free hot breakfast. The room could have been cleaner as the floors were slightly dirty. The pool was very small and indoors which we did not like so we did not use it. They offer late check out for an additional fee which is a benefit as well.
