We arrived late in the evening, with a three night prepaid reservation. The desk clerk said she had to find us a room, then called someone who told her to check room 209. She went to check it and came back to say that it would be fine for us. But, it is on the second floor and there is no elevator. We went to the room, and my wife went to use the restroom. When she lifted the soap, a roach ran out from under it. Then she noticed that the vanity had been kicked in and could not be opened to see if there were any roaches or anything else in it. In the middle of the night, the smoke alarm started chirping that it needed a new battery. Called the front desk, desk clerk came up and removed the battery, saying she didn't have another one to put in it. In the morning, went to use the wall mounted hair dryer. We discovered that the fan blades were exposed, after I almost caught hair in the hair dryer. We decided to check out early. The front desk said that they could not refund the balance for the remaining two days because the manager was unavailable. Well, the manager has been unavailable for 8 days in a row. Ultimately, we were refunded 30% of the balance remaining "as a good will gesture". So much for the "Quality Guarantee".

I called first to ask if we could have 2 rooms next to or close to each other. She assured me that would happen. So I made a reservation on June 9th for 2 double rooms, for the night of June 24th, 15 days later. We got there between 3:30 & 4:00. We were told the rooms werenāt next to each other, only one room was ready & the rooms were on different floors. The lady who checked us in went to make sure the room on the first floor (#112) was ready. We found this very odd as check out time is 11 & check in time is 3:00. She came back out from the hallway to the rooms, with another woman, who was protesting the price of water. The clerk told her āthe price of everything is going up.ā She gave us a key, & we went to get our things from the car. Our group of 4 fought our way to the lobby with our belongings, because there were refugees blocking the main entrance. We put everything in the first room, avoiding the trash strewn all over the hallway & we smelled bacon throughout the hallway. Multiple problems with this room include: the light in the bathroom didnāt work, there was a bag of chicken bones spilled behind the door of the room, there was trash behind the nightstand, no room phone, no microwave, no trash can, the tv didnāt work, the toilet seat wasnāt attached to the toilet, & the biggest thing was the smoke detector was not on the ceiling only BARE wires hanging! Staff came to clean up & fix the bathroom light. We left for dinner & when we came back 2 hours later, the old light fixture for the bathroom was in the entryway of the room along with the cover for the light & the light STILL didnāt work! That pretty much cancelled any sense of privacy as the bathroom door had to be opened while in use in order to see anything. Obviously, they couldnāt use the shower & were naturally reluctant to do so, because of the poor condition of the hotel & room in general. Children were constantly running up & down the hallways, screaming & banging on & into the room door, until well past midnight. Later, feces were discovered on the bedsheets. Just after midnight, there was a screaming match between 2 women in the hallway of the first floor, directly outside of room 112. It went on for hours. No room phone, so couldnāt call the front desk to report it, though how they couldnāt hear it from the front desk, is a mystery to me. Of course, no one in their right mind would have gone out to the hallway & make their way to the front desk personally, not knowing how serious the hallway fight was. When we were able to get into the 2nd room (#204) it also had a disabled (wires hanging) smoke detector, & the shower, once turned on, had mold coming out of it in clumps, no microwave & no refrigerator, the only accessible working electrical outlets were on the lamps, none in the bathroom, the phone was on the bottom shelf of the nightstand also disabled, we didnāt attempt turning the tv on with the electrical issues in the room, cigarette burns on the sheets. Raw chicken on the stairs & in the hallway the next morning. Though breakfast was advertised on the site, we were informed at check-in there was no breakfast in the morning. No desk or ergonomic chairs in the rooms, coffee maker in the 2nd floor room with no coffee makings. No coffee maker in room 112. The towels were obviously not dried in a clothes dryer. The reason for the horrific circumstances & revolting condition of the hotel, is the Ukrainian Gypsies (staff's words, not mine) that have taken over the property. They congregate (mostly 2-3 women & about 7 kids) at the front entrance, propped open the emergency door which didnāt seem to concern the staff at all, & had a bull session (about 8-12 men) with alcohol & chairs from inside the hotel, in the parking lot in the evening when we came back from dinner. I was informed they have been there for 3 weeks, but Iād surmise it has been even longer than that. As this group of people were obviously there when I called BEFORE securing the reservation, (requested 2 rooms near each other) if I had been told there was no room due to the overcrowding, & the property was in severe disrepair, I would absolutely NOT have booked the rooms at this hotel. I feel a 50% refund if not more, is in order. I tried for 20 minutes (on Sunday), to call the manager & it seems the phone wasnāt working...."All circuits are busy..." After calling Corporate, I got an email from the manager apologizing, saying "we'll do better for your next stay." I called the number in the email & the manager REFUSED to refund me for the nastier of the 2 rooms, saying I was told about the refugees at check in (not true) & he could have rented the room otherwise. We weren't told how filthy the property was until we'd gotten our belongings from the car & come back into the hotel. I only asked for a refund of the one room attempting to be reasonable. Apparently, I'm being out of line as the manager actually hung up on me!

It's midnight and the halls are still filled with screaming children and arguing adults. The halls are trashy. The room lacks a smoke detector, iron, phone, hair dryer. The smoke detector is a serious omission. I realize that the problem is a mob of unruly guests, but the desk said they have been here for two weeks. Shouldn't the hotel enforce some rules? The room also lacked a desk chair and microwave, but these were produced by the very nice desk clerk. The side entrance card swipe doesn't work, and the walk around to the front is long. They also advertise breakfast on the website. It disappeared with Covid. It is time to reinstate or take it from the website

Now, I like to travel. Iāve been to a lot of hotels. This is by far the single worst hotel I have ever laid eyes upon. Upon arriving we walked in the room supposed to be non-smoking, and it reeked of cigarette smoke. Secondly, in the bathroom the light switch cover was completely off and all the wires were exposed. The sheets were burned with cigarette burns, clearly dirty with hair on it, and contained countless holes. The hotel itās self was in a sketchy area and there was a homeless person in the parking lot with a grocery cart when we were trying to check in. My friend and I stayed all of 15 minutes and paid for three nights. We left immediately and stayed somewhere else in the crappy āManagerā was always conveniently out when we called to try to get our money back. Still have not seen a refund and itās been two weeks. I would rather die than staying out in this hotel. Please please go anywhere else. Youād be better off sleeping on a park bench.
